I have used it to teach Operating System courses for undergraduate and graduate students and it provided the low level features of a Linux OS and the awesome Desktop interface. Concepts such as the Kernel, shell, access permissions, Inodes, virtual memory, paging, among others can be effectively demonstrated using this Linux distribution.
