> **Nabin** | *14 August 2021* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Fedora Workstation is an open-source operating system for personal computers. Best suited for developers who want to implement cutting-edge Linux features. Sleek GNOME desktop environment, open-source utilities, scriptable virtualization, and OCI image support are the best features of the Fedora Workstation.
>
> **Cons**: It's less stable and slower than similar operating systems like Ubuntu and CentOS. Minor display bugs when running applications. Lacks minimize and maximize buttons for a window.
>
> Fedora Workstation is the best Linux OS for developing cutting-edge applications.

### "Fedora Workstation: The Free Linux Distribution with Great Desktop Interface and Tools" — 4.0/5

> **Wassim** | *18 July 2023* | Computer Networking | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Free. Fedoral Workstation is a free Linux distribution with no subscription fees or restrictions. It is designed with an appealing desktop interface that really compels first-time Linux users. I have used it to teach Operating System courses for undergraduate and graduate students and it provided the low level features of a Linux OS and the awesome Desktop interface. Concepts such as the Kernel, shell, access permissions, Inodes, virtual memory, paging, among others can be effectively demonstrated using this Linux distribution. On the other hand, students finds it very intuitive to use and easy to install, configure, and deploy. Very performance-efficient even on VMs and bootable USB sticks. The Fedora project is based on the stable Redhat linux distribution with more experimental tools and utilities. This makes it highly stable and reliable and open for researchers to inspect with its innovative experimental tools.
>
> **Cons**: Not sure if this is a limitation, but the Fedora Workstation updates and releases are so frequent an make the user taken whether to keep following up with the release flow or sticking to an earlier stable version. A trade-off should be followed here based primarily on the environment or task involving Fedora.
>
> Great experience relying on the Fedora Workstation Linux distribution to teach operating system concepts to graduate and undergraduate students. The full power of a Linux system is combined with an appealing user interface and Gnome desktop environment.

### "An operating system aimed at developers and digital content creators" — 5.0/5

> **Jonathan Alexander** | *20 July 2022* | Hospital & Health Care | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I like the most is its friendly interface and totally oriented towards developers and the different integrations that we can carry out with products and programming tools.
>
> **Cons**: So far I have only used it for a programming workstation and it has worked
>
> I have used fedora for several years as an operating system for web development, being a stable and secure system for the same purpose and at the same time handling a number of libraries compatible with multiple programming languages.

In another scenario, I have used this Linux distribution as a base operating system to virtualize machines and create a host environment and VMs.
