Cliniconex provides email, phone and text reminders to patients
We had unacceptable NO-Show rates, costing money for unfilled appointments; Implementation of reminders significantly reduced No-Show rates.
We have used this product for almost 4 years. There was nothing else available at the time.
Pros
Easy to set up, and customize; on boarding process walks through options. Great customer service, quick response time. Easy to use for clients. Reminders are generally appreciated by clients. Different options for clients to choose phone, email or text reminders.
Cons
The cost is significant at $0.35 per reminder. Other vendors provide similar products (thought not as comprehensive) for less money ( $0.10 per reminder by text)

We adapt our software to your workflows not the other way around! We also charge per cycle or 3 communications. So, if you send an appointment reminder via text to a patient, that will include the initial message, their response and any follow-up instructions you may have. The best part? No character limits! We know you can have a lot of specific information you need to share with your patients.

Cliniconex is a game changer for us!
Cliniconex has wonderful customer support that help you long after implementation and respond almost immediately.
Pros
The ability to automatically send an appointment reminder to the resident and/or responsible party from an appointment that is entered in our electronic health record saves us so much time, leaving that extra time for us to spend with our resident.
The ability to send out daily/weekly updates during the pandemic to our families has created a sense of security and involvement with our families that is not time consuming at all for staff to generate.
Cons
The cons with the software's integration with our electronic health record is that we cannot change when the reminder is sent when an appointment is scheduled - the reminder is automatically sent 5 days out from the date of the appointment. It would be nice to have the option to send the reminder when the appointment is created.

This software is well controlled and designed. The work this software does saves us money on a full time position, and we can utilize that position elsewhere in our company.

Cliniconex Review
This product has streamlined our Business Office practices and deceased the amount of time having to manually call out to families. We have been able to communicate more efficiently with families and send out timely updates/changes. By utilizing the scheduling feature it has helped with scheduling of meetings and increased attendance at the meetings with the reminder feature. The ability to have a confirmation in the chart helps with tracking and reporting that is needed.
Pros
This product is easy to configure and use. The implementation process what simple and easy. It streamlined our business process around communicating to families as well as scheduling of appointments.
Cons
I feel this software could be improved by adding the ability to add an attachment. Most of our contacts have chosen the email format to receive messages, it would be nice to be able to add an attachment to save a step of a follow up email if more information needs to be shared.

as explained above freeing up workers time

This has reduced the number of phone calls the office staff has to make to confirm appts with patients.
Freeing them for other duties

Wish it could be a little more specific for appts for the different doctors. (IE one of our doctors requires a health history questionnaire where the other doesn't and would be nice for the reminder to bring this was ONLY on the appts for that doctor
