Great Accounting Solution for small businesses
Pros
I would say affordability then ease of use. Since my business is still growing I had to switch to this product from another one and I haven't regretted. Invoicing has never been easier.
Cons
I am yet to see anything I don't like about this product

Reckon One is perfect for my small business
When MYOB dropped MAC support I tried the alternatives like quick books and Zero but they were not as user friendly or as well supported as Reckon and now I pay a fraction of what MYOB was costing. Reckon One has a very simple yet very functional user interface with full access to one’s accountant and automated bank feeds.
Pros
Easy set-up and operation. I run on MAC and transferred from MYOB with minimal fuss at the end of a financial year.
The support network is amazing and very quick.
I use it for my business and also for my personal super fund.
Cons
The only thing I miss is the ability to have a repeated transaction but Reckon has two alternatives that are almost the same, based on rule matching and regular transactions.

STP setting-up
It took a long time when I talk with your staff online, but staff response to the issue was well on the phone.
Pros
For setting-up an issue of STP payroll for one of our employee, one of your staff has resolved it well on the spot.
Cons
Setting process is a little bit complicated compare to Xero & Payroller.

A well designed, well supported and reasonably priced platform
Pros
I have been using Reckon One for payroll only and submission to Single Touch Payroll. The monthly fee is down to $12 per month which reflects the functionality that I use and reasonably paid for. Reckon One recently upgraded its application to meet the needs of the 2nd phase of the STP requirements. This upgrade further enhanced the interface and improved user experience. The telephone support team has nothing to fault. Every staff is so nice, patient, and knowledgeable. They can answer every technical question I asked so far.
Cons
Nothing for now, as I only chose to use the Payroll and STP submission function.

MYOB BusinessReasons for Choosing Reckon One
My Head office recommended and provided face-to-face training on MYOB. Also discounted corporate deals are offered, but I only need the Payroll and STP functionality, so the "Special Deal" is not so special compared to Reckon One where I can choose to pay the part of the service that I need.Switched From

Easy Choice
Overall, I have used Reckon, or previously called QuickBooks, since 2000. Reckon One has been a good experience in keeping our business and personal financials running smoothly.
Pros
Reckon One is a product that is designed for what I need in an accounting package and it is also a continuation of what I used in classes at the local Polytechnic. It is familiar to me and comfortable and the support service is ideal whenever needed.
Cons
Only one thing comes to mind that I like least, which is that as my years progress, my on-screen vision has suffered, and sometimes I prefer a larger font in some reports. I have tried the "Ask a question" option and don't always get an easy answer.

My experience with Reckon Mobile App
Pros
It is easy for a non-digital person like myself. Also, behind-the-scenes customer service is respectful and highly productive.

Great for specialty business
We have a lot of long-term customers and I have had to find a way to deal with this in Reckon, by myself, as all attempts by consultants have not been user friendly. I would have liked mor training at the beginning to be more efficient,
Pros
I like how you can either do a straight invoice or create sales orders.
Cons
I find refunding customers a tricky process and feel that it was a difficult program to learn how to use effectively.

Book keeping for beginners
Over the years the system has been very helpful doing my book keeping and the ease of sending information to my accountant.
Pros
The program reminded me of my bank statements which I found easier to use. The financial reports were detailed and easy to create.
Cons
I found it difficult to transfer data from my bank accounts into QuickBooks . This meant It was more time consuming to transfer data.
