During the trial, we found the platform to be feature-rich, with solid invoicing and financial reporting capabilities, and it appeared capable of meeting the needs of many businesses. However, we found that the overall user experience did not fully align with our requirements. While the platform offers good functionality, we also had a less-than-ideal experience with customer support. Responses were slower than expected, and it was sometimes difficult to get timely assistance during the evaluation process. Overall, Sage seems to be a comprehensive accounting solution with a broad range of features, but based on our trial and our experience with support, we decided to move forward with a different provider. > > **Cons**: The main downside for us was the customer support. The product may be adequate for organizations with very simple accounting needs and no payroll integration requirements. The poor integration between the payroll and accounting modules created unnecessary duplication, confusion, and extra work. I find it a better program than quickbooks . Easy to enter and bill customers as well as entering suppliers and inventory. > > **Cons**: I don’t like the fact that there is no longer a purchase version. When business is slow and you still need it to run the business they have a right to cut your business off when you miss a payment. It’s also harder to make the monthly payment if you miss one . I’m now linked to a strictly cheaper online service but I do not like the way it’s set up the same way as the desktop version, I actual hate it but need something. But I do like the fact that I can use it any computer because all info links . > > I like the desktop version how ever due to the cost being so high for something you no longer own I had to go down to the online version. By doing that though the platform isn’t the same as the desktop version so I’m not a fan of it. Example for adding inventory I could just punch in the number of the product from a supplier and it pops up which is different in the online version. It was also harder to transfer files from one program to the other , I couldn’t transfer customers and their invoices and the same went for suppliers .
