DoubleCheck features document management functions that allow users to search through collected documents during audits. Configurable user interfaces can be designed to suit the roles and responsibilities of auditors, audit managers and upper management. Risk management, policy management, testing modules and various assessment options are also built into the software. Business intelligence module allows users to find, filter, analyze and visualize data.


Issue creation and resolution tools enable users to address audit errors by creating task lists. Tasks can be assigned to specific employees, and follow up messages are automatically generated as part of the issue resolution process. Final audit report templates can be pre-populated with relevant information to expedite report preparation.


DoubleCheck offers phone-based and email support, and three levels of implementation package are available.

> **Pros**: When we began searching for a solution for our SOX auditing needs, we looked at several companies and products. Because our program had evolved minimally from its initial inception, we needed a program that could help us evolve in stages. Which also required some tailoring to our specific needs. DoubleCheck offered to take their platform and build in functionality that allowed a staged progression of our internal audit program. This flexibility has given us the opportunity to develop a program that can quickly pivot and provide our company the quality assurances needed from a internal audit program. To top this off, the reporting from the DoubleCheck systems is at a level that we can take both raw data, or dynamic reporting from the system to deliver to our business lines. Overall we could not have found a better product.

> **Cons**: There are very few items that I would qualify that I like "least" about the program. If I had to call out one item, it may be that they do not have offices closer to our place of business. As we would love to do more in person business. But with the current environment that is not an option. I will say that even when I find an item in their system that I might have difficulty with, I can quickly get a response from the DoubleCheck team and in-depth guidance on overcoming any obstacle.

> Overall, DoubleCheck has proven to be our most reliable and valuable business partner when it comes to our Audit and Compliance software needs. And maybe beyond that. They are a small group that puts more focus on quality experience for their customers than just churning out a high volume of off the shelf products. They are responsive to their customer's needs and partner with them in building solutions.

> **Pros**: So working in retail you deal with a lot compliance issues mostly when it comes to safety and risk, you have governmental agencies that require detailed information on your practices. Double check makes it easy to keep that information in a way that anyone can quickly pick up and understand your compliance practices. It's easy to integrate and fairly cost effective.

> **Cons**: My only real issue is trying to ramp up to use it effectively in an organization, this isn't a software program so much as just a mechanism of the environment but most people would blame the software

> Great to use but do your research, this is best used for a medium to larger size organization.
