Amazing customer support
Extremely positive. The stellar account manager, customer success and support provided by salelsoft is some of the best I’ve received by any third party provider. The tool itself is extremely functional, does what it says brilliantly and I can’t fault it.
Pros
The tool itself is great and extremely functional, but the customer support from salelsoft is top tier. The support line for general bugs and queries are efficient and extremely helpful, and the customer success aspect provided by salelsoft is some of the best I’ve seen from any provider in their industry, and wider industry groups.Highly recommend for this reason alone.
Cons
The platform itself can be slightly buggy - the focus on new releases could perhaps be toned down and instead more development work could be put into maintaining and upgrading the existing features to be more stable

Salesloft is a great tool for outbound efforts
As a product it has been quite straight forward to implement and the team like to use it. As a company, because we didn't buy Customer Success time, we feel like we are treated like second class citizens and are struggling to get their attention.
Pros
It allows our team working on outbound, prospecting efforts to have all of what they need in one place. It helps them to focus on the task and enter into flow.
Cons
We moved the team from HubSpot Saleshub to SalesLoft and there is no "Playbook" functionality that guides the user through what to ask a prospect on a call. We are lacking some of the depth of information that we were capturing before.
Reasons for Choosing SalesLoft
We needed one tool that could help us make calls and could offer the team one place to focus their attention.Switched From
HubSpot Sales HubReasons for Switching to SalesLoft
Key for us was the integration into HubSpot. Outreach was the other close contender, and if we had needed a power dialer we would have chosen Orum. In the end we chose SalesLoft because of the UI, Integration with HubSpot and the fact that their inbuilt dialer was simple.- Industry: Telecommunications

STAY AWAY! Mediocre product with a pushy team AND dubious sales tactics
Pros
It is a mediocre product with a good salesforce integration
Cons
We bought the product 1 year ago, have been using it for a whole year.
When we signed we were made to believe by looking at the Order form that we are buying a product for 1 year with a start day and an end day.
Apparrently they have a link to an MSA saying "unless stated otherwise on the order form" the product will auto renew. Well based on what the order form is saying the subscription was for 1 year.
They have no cancel buttons, you have to notify them 60! days before if you want to cancel and you need to speak to a "Sales" agent to cancel. Not a support, customer success or other role. They do everything in their power to make it difficult to impossible to cancel
When the subscription "renewal" occurs, they start sending you threatening emails, and will try to force you to prepay the whole year or it will go to collection
They have 0 empathy, they try to masterfully defraud customers into staying with them forever, hiding in the small letters their interpretation of auto-renewal
Very very bad, stay away. Use a legitimate company that wants you to stay because you like the value they offer.

Very reliable sales engagement tool
Pros
Compared to other sales engagement tools, SalesLoft has a very user-friendly interface which makes it very easy to navigate from the get-go. Very easy to access the analytics and apply filters to get the desired data. Their conversational intelligence feature for both meetings and dials is great for coaching purposes.
Cons
Their integrations can sometimes be glitchy but is resolved in a fast manner.

Best in class sales engagement
Overwhelmingly positive with regards to both product and service
Pros
Intuitive comprehensive product. As a smaller company with tighter budgets, having a complete suite of sales engagement, analytics, forecasting, conversation intelligence, and opportunity management under one roof is essential.
Cons
Honestly there isn't much, and any criticism is really just splitting hairs. Obviously the conversation intelligence and deal management modules aren't as comprehensive as stand-alone solutions, but they're pretty close and more than enough for most teams.
The salesforce integration is almost perfect and is >98% accurate. We've had an issue with salesloft not being able to write a tickbox to salesforce and that would be a nice fix to see, but again it's an inconvenience rather than a pressing issue.

OutreachReasons for Switching to SalesLoft
Salesloft UI is more intuitive for the user. I've told Outreach about small blockers to productivity over the years that seem like easy fixes, and they've never been fixed. Why wouldn't you allow users to drag and drop cadence steps like Salesloft?! Outreach analytics is more extensive, but it feels like overkill. In reality though, the deal was about relationships and pricing. Salesloft and Outreach are almost identical in terms of capability and integrations- Industry: Computer Software

Manage your sales outreach in a few clicks - time saving where you need it.
Overall a positive experience we have a really strong customer success rep in [sensitive content hidden] who has been on hand with any questions we have had. She guided us through our implementation across several teams and we have had a couple of best practice sessions to make sure everyone is on the same page. Salesloft is pretty self explanatory to use and once you get started the UI makes sense on how to work. For team members coming from pure CRM usage it can be a bit of a learning curve but once they get the hang of it they love how much more they can get done.
Pros
The most important reason for implementing Salesloft was our SDR team was slowed down by very admin heavy processes and onboarding became a time sync for new team members to learn. Salesloft meant that new team members could know exactly what was expected as outreach for certain prospects. It also means you now have access to a really rich amount of data to understand what types of outreach = success whether it be mixing up length or when certain emails are sent, no. calls etc. Suddenly having access to this information meant that the most successful SDRs no longer had information siloed to them and we could get more and more best practices shared across the team.
Cons
I mentioned when assessing the features the couple of things where Salesloft could improve: - increase focus for non opp creating SDRs. This would mean that those teams could take more advantage of the coaching modules and actually get richer data when their looking for trends across performance. Most interesting to me would be- number of high value activities completed - no meetings booked - no. meetings attended - being able to read leads converted to an opportunity which is the traditional way Salesforce would identify success. Since the release of Rhythm there has been some jankiness in the tool. A few screens that don't take you where you are supposed to go and some slowness with pre-scheduled emails. Their product team has messaged and said they are working on these areas.

Cadences and Automations makes your SDR role easier.
As a Sales Development Rep, Salesloft offers a lot of automation and sequence tools to keep track of your leads and engage with them using follow up strategies with your text messages and emails. The tool has a lot to offer for any tech sales company or SDR role that needs a CRM to manage customers.
Pros
The use of cadences to generate automated steps like emails and text messages when working on leads. Notifications would appear when a customer click or viewed an email which is great to engage with them at the right time.
Cons
When using automated emails on my cadence, it would sometimes reach a maximum limit to send emails, it would tell me there was an error to send a certain amount.

Very Highly Useful for Sales Teams- Can Be Buggy or Inaccurate
Pros
I loved being able to see who was engaging with my emails, as well as being able to organize my sales outreach in a meaningful way & keep myself on track with cadences.
Cons
There would be glitches semi-frequently. The platform would not work for a couple of hours, the "Import from Salesloft" feature wasn't working, the email signatures got messed up for multiple days at one point. I think they still have some technical things to work on but overall pretty good. Sometimes, I also think the system couldn't detect "opens," because someone would refer to reading an email that SL said they never opened.

Salesloft, you should check it out
As long as I do what I need to do, I have a "regimented" daily routine. I can do what I need to with little or no supervision. It can free up a manager's time because they can see an individual's production and meet with them for exactly what they need to instead of wasting time doing a lot of discovery and then getting to their message.
Pros
There are a ton of features to use for prospect and customer management. You can customize cadences to work for you and with you. The Salesforce and Orum integrations work extremely well also. Because I have a business analyst, I have never had to reach out to support, but I recently discovered that they have SalesLoft University, so now I can learn how to do more on my own.
Cons
I have used SalesLoft competitors in the past, with that in mind, I cannot really call out any quirks. If I was forced to give a Con, I would say there is a LOT that you can do with SalesLoft. It could prove difficult for someone if they do not have anyone to help guide them.

Reliable yet incomplete
In general it is a great solution but has several bugs that doesn't allow me to say it's my favorite
Pros
It has a lot of advantages as the support it gives to double check contacts and info before filling the CRM of trash.
Cons
I miss some user-friendly experience. It is kind of uncomfortable to have to import data so manually

I use Salesloft for tracking calls and primarily emails as well as email tracking
Tracking and creating emails that are sent to prospects are the biggest values to my job. The new ability to tell if a prospect is looking at our site and what pages they are visiting is also useful. Salesloft does a good job of constantly adding new features like a linkedin extension at the bottom of the screen to verify prospects. The dashboard also helps tell which emails work and which don't and making changes to templated emails is very easy.
Pros
The ability to quickly load a lead from salesforce or multiple leads is very easy. The email tracking is also very helpful when deciding when to reach out to prospects. Navigating through Salesloft for the most part is very easy. The notifications on whether an email has been received or not is great. I primarily use Salesloft for email cadences and email blasts. Both allow me to send templated emails to prospect at a much faster rate than gmail. The dashboard also gives you good feedback on which emails are being opened/responded to. Being able to create your own custom templates is very easy as well which allows you to change up your messaging whenever you'd like.
Cons
Salesloft at times can make it difficult to log calls. Sometimes I'll prefer to just log calls in salesforce when Salesloft isn't recording my calls properly. The email tracking while useful will sometimes give you false alerts if the prospect is opening their email with outlook or if you open the email yourself which can lead to confusion. The tool also has issues with uploading leads from salesforce from time to time which can be frustrating.

One of the best Sales Engagement Platform
My overall experience with Salesloft has been great. At first, my network was bad and the call quality was not great, but the support team helped me and my team and now the calls and network are perfect and everything else is perfect. We have customized most of the automatic rules to meet our needs.
Pros
What I love the most about Salesloft is that it makes our Sales activities smooth, easy to manage and track, and provides great automation rules and training for me and my team. We can record all calls, all meetings, and send emails from the same platform, making it easier for me as a Sales Development Rep to focus on revenue-generating activities and automate all the other admin processes.
Cons
I think Salesloft can increase its integrations to include other systems that other companies are already using.

Great for emails but keep your phone!
Overall it's a great product for a streamlined outbound process for your sales team. Being able to create a set list of call and email steps and see metrics like the reply, open, and click rates is very valuable. If they would accept and fix the dialer issues the product would be one of the best sales tools out there.
Pros
It's a great place to keep track of all prospects and have a quick access to the company's website and the prospect's LinkedIn and Twitter.
Cons
The dialer/phone is the worst thing about the platform. I would say it works about 60% of the time and if you don't have a direct line there's no point in calling since you won't be able to go through the names directory or dial EXTs. Also, seems to be a consistent call quality issue and nothing is worse than getting a prospect on the phone and they can't hear you.

Great Tool for Sales Teams
It allowed our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to streamline communication with prospects and customers. Ultimately, this meant better engagement with our customers and increased retention.
Pros
We mainly used SalesLoft for a variety of email cadences, and it worked great. We were able to continue engaging prospects and also streamline follow up with customers. The autodial feature worked well, but we didn't use it much. I could see this working well for a high-volume inside sales team.
Cons
The email tracking is a great idea, but we found the email opens/clicks to not always be 100% accurate. It was probably closer to 50/50 which created confusion with prospects and customers. I think this is a key feature that could be improved to add more value.

Great product for active Sales People
It is a great product and I do not know how people manage day-to-day sales activities without it. I am easily able to get in touch with 100s of contacts a day with personalized messages and pull stats on the fly.
Pros
Salesloft is a great product that helps power fast-growing Software companies. It is easy to use and help me manage my day-to-day outreach to prospects and clients.
Cons
They do not have a great Outlook integration (unless I am using it incorrectly). When using competing products it was much easier to log emails send outside of the environment.

Takes My Sales Routine to the Next Level
Overall, this product has made my day to day sales life easier and more effective and productive. Wouldn't want to work for a comp;any without it now.
Pros
Salesloft made my sales life more productive and more proactive than I ever thought it could be. This software gives me insight and data around my sales calls and activities that I never thought about before. I now have more actionable insight around my prospects and more resources readily available to make the mundane tasks of sales less time consuming.
Cons
There are very few areas that I think Salesloft needs to improve because it's so cutting edge but I would like for the dial pad functionality to be more effective when interacting with the extensions of the phone system I'm calling into.

SalesLoft Review
Salesloft is a massive timesaver when prospecting, It enables me to easily send out targeted emails and track the progress and interest said emails garner. This is a must have for business development reps.
Pros
I really like using Salesloft to send out mass emails to long contact lists, the feature to populate personalized information using specific tags such as First_Name or Company_Name are extremely helpful in making prospecting emails not look like spam. The ability to schedule email blasts is also extremely helpful as are the tracking features to monitor who is opening your emails so you can gauge interest.
Cons
The reporting feature of the software is sometimes inaccurate in its reporting of who opened certain emails, and I also have seen issues with its reporting of dates emails were sent especially when it sends that information over to Salesforce, however this integration is extremely useful and saves time.

Pros

Good, not great
I am a sales manager and my reps use SalesLoft to send emails and calls very quickly. However, the reporting function is very simple. We have also asked our customer support rep to help us update some of the categories and they are slow to respond. We finally got a PDF with instructions on how to do it ourselves, but it did not work.
Pros
-Quick call feature
-Mass email groups of people
-Website tracking
-Cadence building
Cons
-Copy and paste feature is spotty.
-Customer Service is below average.
-Reporting features are lacking.
