We scheduled Zoom calls as often as needed, and I could come prepared with a list of questions each time. He would either share his screen to walk me through exactly how to do something or jump in and help configure features when needed. That level of support made a huge difference, especially while setting up eight listings. I never felt like I was left to figure things out on my own. > > **Cons**: The initial setup is definitely time-consuming, especially when you're migrating multiple properties. Creating listings, booking links, automations, and getting everything configured takes a significant amount of work. That isn't really a Hostaway issue as much as it's the nature of setting up a property management system. I would also particularly like to mention Fatih from the onboarding team. He was fantastic throughout the entire onboarding process. The training sessions were very clear and easy to follow, and he has a great ability to explain even the more complex features in a simple and practical way. He was always friendly, patient, attentive and happy to answer all our questions. Having this level of support made the transition to Hostaway much smoother for us. > > **Cons**: As we are still relatively new to Hostaway, we haven't had enough time to explore the platform in depth and identify any major downsides. So far, the main areas we feel could be improved are related to workflow and ease of use. For example, some changes need to be made directly on the specific booking platform rather than through Hostaway, which can make certain tasks less convenient. Another small frustration is that when we receive a notification for a new guest message and click on it, it takes us to the Hostaway homepage rather than directly to the relevant conversation in the inbox. It would be much more practical if notifications linked straight to the message.
