For Ecommerce platforms, WooCommerce offers the best value for money by far.
I have been building and running many of my own Woocommerce stores over the past 15 years, personally designing, building and publishing the stores as well as sourcing the products, managing the logistics, order processing and customer care.
Over the past 5 years,, I have been doing the same for clients, including SEO and online marketing of the Woocommerce stores.
Pros
The basic Woocommerce platform delivers all the features needed to run a successful e-commerce shop for most industries or niche services.
The thousands of specialist plugins that expand on this basic platform make it suitable for any specialisation you can think of.
On top of it all, the platform is free and most plugins have a free tier that is sufficient for most situations.
All you need to add is hosting, a domain, some WordPress knowledge and time and you can build a powerful ecommmerce store withouot the high monthly rates of competing platforms.
Cons
You need to invest some time in learning the basics of the platform if you want to build you own store. Alternatively, you can engage a WordPress developer at reasonable rates to build your site.

I love WooCommerce!
I love using WooCommerce. It's the best store platform I've used for a long time. It's easy to customise it for what I need and integrates with a lot of other platforms and payment providers to make selling easy. There's a lot of plugin options that range from free to paid to cover what you want to offer all in one place. The app also makes it easy to track sales and update customers on dispatch and posting details etc. Overall I'd 100% recommend WooCommerce.
Pros
Love how easy it is to set up and how many different plugins you can get to customise it exactly how you need it.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve but there are also plenty of how to walkthroughs online to make using it easier.

ShopifyReasons for Choosing WooCommerce
The pricing for Squarespace kept going up while the features stayed largely the same. I made the decision to switch to wordpress for my site and so installing WooCommerce was a no brainer. The functionality and customisation options are fantastic, especially for the price when most of the things you need to get started are free.Switched From
SquarespaceReasons for Switching to WooCommerce
I decided not to go with Shopify because, while it was easier to set up and use straight away, there was a monthly fee to pay from the beginning and I wasn't sure how much I'd use it. I also needed to move my main website and wordpress with WooCommerce allowed me the flexibility to set up my site and have different plugins depending on what I needed from my site. I also wasn't sure how popular my online store would be and not having to pay a monthly fee with WooCommerce was a more attractive option.- Industry: Internet

WooCommerce - Meh…
Frustration, angst which led to wondering - why isn’t there a competitor solution for my Wordpress sites?
Pros
It works with Wordpress. But requires additional plugins to allow functionality that one would think was built in already
Cons
Because it’s a server side software solution, it can be a dog to use.

As good as it gets for Wordpress e-commerce
To be honest it really works and the plugins available to customize are many. My only issue es mostly with Wordpress itself as a platform can be cumbersome to manage for e-commerce through woocommerce que you start to get more traffic or have more specific needs.
Pros
The best option for e-commerce using Wordpress
Cons
Wordpress as an e-commerce platform is not the most robust choice.

Great Ecommerce Tool
I love WooCommerce. I use it to build my Ecommerce website and those of my clients. Processing sales, marketing using coupons and it’s integration to many email marketing software makes it even amazing.
Pros
I love how seemless it is to use WooCommerce with WordPress. It’s easier to use it to collect payment and easy to use.
Cons
The only cons I have is that you need to buy some more tools if you need to use some advance features but most of those features are just addons.
