The best CRM for email marketing in all sectors
Built-in support for email marketing was a big assist. The automation released me from the mental burden of keeping track of where people were in the pipeline and what they needed to do next based on the results of customer-facing tasks.
Pros
The level of automation is unparalleled. A common feature of CRMS is the lack of a "if/then" configuration option. If I tell Keap yes or no to a task, the program reacts differently depending on my answer. If you require robust automation that can do a wide variety of actions based on results, look no further. It's yours, Keap.
Cons
There was a lack of functionality in the mobile app. So that I could access Keap from my mobile device, I bookmarked the website. This method was effective, although it lacked caller ID.

Great software that just needs some work on mobile stability
In general my experience with Keap has been positive and I've absolutely loved their core functionality and features. I'd hope to see them focus more on stability for existing functionality rather than rushing to roll-out new features.
Pros
Keap has a multi-pronged approach to client management that makes tracking and maintaining client communication easy. From automated pipelines, to texting, to an easy tagging system that keeps email lists clean and organized, they give you everything you need run a small to mid-sized business. Their customer service has also been strong, especially if you join their online support platform.
Cons
Mobile app stability, especially on Android, is low. I often have to reinstall the app to fix issues with it crashing. This is a significant issue if I need to use my business line urgently. The app freezes up and then takes a 10-15mins to uninstall and reinstall.
Reasons for Switching to Keap
Keap was superior in pricing and automation options compared to Twilio and Salesforce, while offering more client communication options/automation than MailChimp.Response from Keap

Does what it promises
Keap is a mess, but is MY mess and I don't really feel comfortable getting away from it to use other CRM's that are incredibly complicated and take hundreds of hours to learn to use and even discover functions.
Pros
We have used and abused this CRM in our company with a lot of integrations. It's safe to say that it behaves as expected and offers multiple functions for our particular needs. The layout of the overall information is not annoying to read and you can find what you're looking for rather quickly and easy
Cons
It's not perfect, sadly. The main issues are automating emails for clients and not being able to remove them from suppression lists when they bounce without contacting Keap's agents, who most of the time answer incredibly slowly or don't understand requests. The quick search gets broken constantly and I don't know if it's a general thing, but it is also super slow to advance and process simple commands.

Hello Cynthia,
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with Keap! We're glad to hear that you have been able to use the system to your company's benefit.
We appreciate the frank feedback as well. Support should be able to help further investigate the cons mentioned. It is worth noting that it's important to contact support as the slowness is occurring so they can take a look at the backend.
We're sorry to hear removing contacts from the suppression list has been difficult. If you ever have a less-than-stellar interaction with support, please let our team know. We are always working to improve our processes so users can get the help they need quickly.

Not great for marketing, not great for sales
In general, I'm never a fan of these all in one platforms because they don't do anything nicely. It is really lacking for marketing, it doens't even add UTMs automatically in email blasts and it is very hard to keep track of opt ins. Cannot recommend for emailing marketing. Sales isn't impressed with it.
Pros
I guess their support is fast to answer. But that is about it
Cons
Missing basic features for marketing like:
- automatic UTMs on emails
- being able to organize opt ins easily
- just overall clunky
- some support people give wrong information and then argue with you about it

Great Tool for Small Business Growth, But With a Learning Curve
My experience with Keap has been mostly positive. It's a solid tool for businesses aiming to automate their processes and centralize their customer interactions. After getting over the initial learning curve, I found it invaluable for managing customer relationships, automating marketing, and tracking leads.
Pros
Keap offers powerful automation tools that can streamline workflows, automate follow-ups, and enhance customer engagement. It’s a game-changer for small businesses looking to grow without needing to hire additional staff.
Cons
Keap’s interface can be challenging for beginners. Some features feel complex, and it may take a while to get comfortable using the platform, especially if you aren’t familiar with CRM software.
