Overall, I have no intention of leaving QuickBooks.

Pros

QuickBooks is easy to import into, export out of and directly integrate with certain platforms. The software was built with the user experience in mind.

Cons

The price is a bit higher than the competition, so technically its a con. However, I don't consider this a negative because sometimes you get what you pay for and I found QBO to have better features and a better reputation as a whole.

The support is not as easy to work with as I would like. But compared to some of the competiton, its better than not having any.

Excel even with automations doesn't cut the mustard as an accounting solution.

Reasons for Switching to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

Reputation was the primary reason. Secondary to that, it is well known in the industry and integrates with other related solutions.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

Tracking payroll and benefits is excellent. I like everything this software does, very user friendly and easy to teach to Lay persons

How all of the 'modules' interact with each other

Cons

I have used QuickBooks since 1995 and I don't like having to talk to CSRs who have to go through a flipchart. I need to go to someone who is most knowledgeable.

Quick book for small business owners

It been a good overall experience over the years I've enjoyed learning it and using it.

Pros

It's made just for the small business owner in mind ot will help you get a better understanding of your business not a easy product to use but once you understand it you will enjoy using it.

Cons

It's take a little time to get to understand how to use it for what you need it for so it a learning curve yet once you understand you will like it.

Great for small businesses

QuickBooks is a good value for the money. It works fine for day-to-day transactions such as A/R, A/P, and data entry, but it's not the best for things like forecasting and financial reporting.

Pros

QuickBooks provides a good value for the money, which is especially helpful in small businesses.

Cons

After working in complex and customized ERP systems, QuickBooks feels a little archaic in comparison.

Quickbooks Has Been So Helpful

Quickbooks has been a blessing to small business like ours. It is very easy to manage in all and helps us as a business stay organized when it comes to billing our customers.

Pros

Quickbooks is very easy to use. It helps a small business collect monies from customer's by being able to store their credit card on file and charge the card. It also syncs with different software programs if need be so you can run your business efficiently.

Cons

It is hard to charge customers who have big bills each month. When charge all cards at once you do have to go under each customer to clear their balance instead of clicking 1 button and having each person's balance cleared. This takes hours to complete if you have a lot of customer with balances.
