Invoicing, billing and general ledger are some of the tools which I like most on FreshBooks.

I achieve everything I yearn with FreshBooks, mainly when creating and customizing invoices.

Perfect for small business/ freelancers. Quick to learn and did everything we needed at the time. Good access via app and automated invoices were ideal.

The cost of adding more users on as we grew. The limited personalisation at the start was fine but as we used it more and more we had to find workarounds.

The onboarding and client integration was good at the start. The bank imports worked with Bank of the West.

Freshbooks falsely stated that bank imports would work. BMO, which is a large international bank, purchased Bank of the West. All of the bank imports, with the exception of the primary checking. Without bank imports, Accounts cannot be reconciled. I assumed it would be a non-issue and that Freshbooks would address this issue. I am a small business doing business with a large bank and what seemed to be a reputable software company.

It is wrapped around a user-friendly and sleek user interface that enable us to quickly and efficiently prepare invoices with customizable templates, recurring invoices, and automated reminders, making it simple to track and collect payments from clients. Additionally it integrates with payment gateways such as PayPal which allow us to accept credit card payments directly within the FreshBooks. The time-tracking feature enables our employees to log hours worked, making it easy to calculate payroll expenses and generate accurate invoices for billable time.FreshBooks enable us to track key metrics and indicators of financial health and accurately report on our financial status of our company.

This system has a simple front end UI. Sometimes that's what you need. We dont always need graphs and charts and tables. I can log in, see who owes me and who has paid. I can create invoices and not have to wait for graphics to load to show me someone owes us money.

My other favorite feature is being able to convert estimates directly to an invoice and then sending that invoice out. 3 clicks and you go from estimate to getting paid.

the on thing i dislike is the option to add an image to an invoice. We have multiple users creating invoices and estimates and the last image uploaded becomes the default image on all the following invoices and estimates unless you manually remove it.

If you want to attach a multi-page PDF to an Invoice, only the first page is attached, and the PDF is also blurry and of poor quality.

Team members must share a single signature on emails to send Invoices.
Customer service is terrible; they never answer calls.

The Invoice Details report does not include the reference field, which is one of the most critical information in an Invoice.

It's cost is pocket friendly and has a perfectly tailored UI that anyone can use even without prior accounting knowledge. It is available in mobile apps for Android or any other devices which enhances accessibility and conveniency that I can manage my business even when am away. With it Iam able to create and send invoices, take photos of clients payment receipts which makes it ridiculously easy to manage payments and expenses online. This allows to keep my financial records updated . Tax filing is a breeze and it also allows double entry accounting reports.
