About Dropbox Business

Dropbox is a cloud-based file sharing software system that caters to individuals and businesses of all sizes. This solution allows users to share files and send file requests to people even if they don’t have a Dropbox account. Multiple users can leave comments on files and can collaborate with Microsoft Office. The solution can recover deleted files and maintains version histories in case users want to recover old file versions. It also keeps track of all actions performed on specific files. Advanced sharing enables only selected users to see important files, and files can be remotely wiped if sensitive data gets compromised. Dropbox can also back up all photos as they are added. Dropbox also provides an admin panel to control files centrally. User licenses, content and access permissions can be transferred from one user to the other.

Fine to start but not the best.

I'm discontinuing after using it periodically for years. It was fine to start, but I've since found much better options that area easier to use and faster. And cheaper.

Pros

It's pretty user friendly and straightforward.

Cons

Costly, kind of slow, not the most collaborative.

Dropbox keeps you from ever saying "Hold on while I go to the office to access that data"

I keep my multiple companies streamlined by keeping all data in the cloud and only backing up locally on my main computer

Pros

I have been using Dropbox from its inception. Being able to access all of my data from anywhere, any time save me a lot of time

Cons

Initially it wasnt available for mobile devices, but now practically every device is available to use with Dropbox
