Standard of Excellence Within The Online Consulting World
If there is something I want to create within my services or ask during my client's scheduling process, I love that I can customize that within Acuity. The service truly offers everything you can think of to customize each step of the scheduling journey.
Pros
It's an all-in-one platform to show your calendar, allow booking, and take payments. Acuity really shines in its paid plans because then you can easily integrate features. It streamlines the booking process and saves time on your end. The Free plan can be effective if you have some alternative options for taking payments outside of the Acuity platform.
Cons
All of the integrations such as: sending reminder emails, accepting payment methods, syncing to your personal calendar, etc are all paid only features. The Free plan is okay to start but quite limited. The lowest-priced paid plan feels like too big of a step up for business owners who are setting up their business but not yet bringing in reliable income.

CalendlyReasons for Switching to Acuity Scheduling
I like that Acuity is the standard within the industry of consultation services. I've booked with other astrologers, tarot readers, business consultants, and most everyone uses Acuity. It is a platform I was familiar with seeing and, therefore, I bet my clients will also have an easier time navigating the service, too.- Industry: Accounting

Easy to manage your calendar!
Awesome! My calendar gets managed booked without much effort on my part
Pros
Since I implemented Acuity, I no longer have to spend hours a day managing my calendar. Clients can book a call, without all the email back and forth to line up schedules! Ah,.. Acuity sends reminders... no more manual reminding. Saves my focus for more important work that actually serves the clients.
Cons
Managing multiple office locations. Maybe I am doing this correctly and there is an easier way.

CalendlyReasons for Switching to Acuity Scheduling
Choosing Acuity Scheduling over alternatives likely came down to its ease of use, especially if simplicity and user-friendly functionality are high priorities for your team or clients. Acuity is known for its intuitive interface, streamlined booking process, and customization options that cater well to small and medium-sized businesses. If there were specific features you found particularly valuable, like seamless calendar integrations or robust client management, those might have tipped the scale in its favor.- Industry: Legal Services

Mixed results
Overall it is useful but there are better alternatives.
Pros
You can depend on its reliability and accuracy and it integrates well with Google Calendar.
Cons
It is relatively inflexible as far as things like varying the length of meeting times.

Simple and flexible software that just simply works
Our company used Acuity scheduling for years without issues. Even when we tried other software, we always came back to Acuity but it just simply worked.
Pros
Acuity is a simple and clean piece of software that is straightforward and insightful. It provides enough flexibility to be used in a number of applications. For our sports training business it allowed up to separate appointment types, create custom calendars and send notifications. I really liked that it interacted with our website so clients didnt have to leave our site to book a session.
Cons
Reporting in acuity is a bit clunky for how we used the software. Instead of going off package pricing, acuity uses per session pricing which makes our revenue numbers look great but they are inaccurate. Additionally there are limited customization options for the booking pages unless you have advanced knowledge of CSS styling.
Reasons for Switching to Acuity Scheduling
Acuity was significantly cheaper to operate compared to these other options. As a small business owner, I do not have the amount of capital every month that other software charges so Acuity was a no brainer for us.- Industry: Marketing & Advertising

Acuity's an excellent scheduling tool
I switched from Calendly in 2015 or so to Acuity because at that time they had the zoom integration. Calendly now has that integration of course now, too, but at the time, I was manually sending the zoom link to my contacts and so I searched for a better tool and Acuity was it.
Pros
That they offer the 'add to google calendar' feature as opposed to (or in addition to??) the inconvenient .ics file.
Cons
The cost. I switched to another tool because Acuity was double the price with almost the same features.
