A necessary payment option for small businesses and nonprofits
As a small business, we've used PayPal as a payment method for our clients for more years than I can remember. It's convenient. Nearly all of our clients are capable of using it, even if they don't already. It's easy to invoice someone when needed. We have encountered a few clients who refuse to use it due to poor past experiences on their end, but overall it's a payment method of choice for probably 35-40% of our clients. Again, as a non-profit we wish there were a better way for PayPal to handle their fee structure, but as a business if we want to get paid, PayPal has to be one of the options available.
Pros
Our business uses PayPal out of necessity as it is one of the most convenient method of payments for many of our clients. It's easy to use, easy to invoice when necessary, and integrates with some of our other services and our accounting program as well.
Cons
The fees. My particular small business is a non-profit and even losing 2% of transactions to fees takes a big cut out of our operating income. It would be nice if they at least offered the client to cover the fee in place of the business.

Great for international payment but needs improve customer service.
It is fine overall. But prefer more secure transactions, and need to improve the customer service.
Pros
The convivence of receiving payments from international customers. The processing time is short.
Cons
The security of payments process is not assured. The technology of transaction is somehow outdated. If there is a dispute of payment, the customer service is very difficult to reach.

Paypal still one of the most use payment platform
Paypal helps businesses and customers with money payment transfers easily. They built their reputation for a long time worldwide. I mean, who doesn’t heard of paypal. However, with more ways to send money now a days, overall it’s a neutral experience from me as a user.
Pros
Paypal is a secure way to link your bank account online and be able to pay internationally.
Cons
I would say Paypal customer service is not that great. With the amount of transactions charges they will take from sales payment receive and money withdrawals, I think they need to enhance their customer service platform.

PayPal is the best service especially for new businesses
My experience with PayPal has been great over the years they've helped me to grow my business and also taught me a lot I do e-commerce also have a digital business as well.
Pros
I love PayPal been using PayPal for over 20 years now and they hel run my entire business don't know what I would do without them their service makenit easy to receive payments from just about anywhere instantly what's not to love about that plus many other tools and services they have that I don't think they're is enough room to state here.
Cons
I would love for PayPal to make it easier for small businesses to get money for help also when sending transactions family to family if they find that transaction was sent in that way to be fraudulent we should be able to get a refund but based on how the system is set up you can't do that right now that's about it.

Protecting Scammers and Defrauding Customers
Paypal is definitely protecting scammers. I had two transactions recently that I sought a refund on. Both times the seller turned out to be a Chinese scammer. I submitted all the evidence to Paypal, including pre-existing reports to Scamwatch and police. They didn't even bother to read my complaint, let alone look at any of the attachments I sent. I pushed things further, providing more evidence not just of how I'd been scammed, but also how this particularl seller was operating dozens of fraudulent businesses in Australia. Paypal ignored that too. They've also refused reunds on faulty goods, goods that were nothing like what I ordered, and goods that never arrived. Paypal definitely don't protect the customer and actually make it deliberately hard to seek a refund. On top of that, they charge an extra 10c in every dollar on top of the current exchange rate from AUD to USD (and other currencies). That's not fees and charges which are additional, but them deciding what the exchange rate is and setting it 10c higher than the actual exchange rate, and then they prevent you from having the currency exchange handled by your bank or another institution. Paypal collects that extra money. So as well as not standing by their own, much-advertised customer protection policy, they actively support scammers and are themselves defrauding customers. Maybe it's time all the disgruntled customers got together and started a class action against Paypal?
Pros
Nothing. There is nothing to like about Paypal.
Cons
It does not protect customers (but it does protect scammers); customer service is non-existent; the account setup is hard to navigate; there is no buyer protection; Paypal is extorting money by setting its own exchange rates; the refund process is deliberately opaque to put people off making complaints; there is no way to seek restitutation from Paypal itself without engaging in a lengthy legal process.

PayPal is mostly my Pal for sending/receiving funds.
As someone who both receives payments via PayPal and sends money with it, I'm mostly satisfied with its services. The immediate transfer fees aside, I'm comfortable waiting the usual 1-3 business days.
Pros
The iPhone app has a user-friendly interface, allowing me to quickly see my current balance, transfer options, and most recent payments. Another great thing about PayPal is it keeps your most frequently paid contacts at the top of your list. This makes it convenient for me to make recurring payments.
Cons
Often, the download time on my MacBook Air is really slow, and even refreshing the URL is to no avail. It would be great if they had an option to remedy this problem without always having to switch to my iPhone's app.

Paypal Platform
My overall experience with PayPal is more frustrating to me then satisfied. Paypal does have many restrictions and verifications on their platform, which is good, but when you continuously get denied moving your own money it becomes very frustrating.
Pros
I like Paypal's platform the most. The mobile app is easy to get around, options to buy and sell Bitcoin, add multiple debit cards in one place, earn cash back and rewards from different merchants and several others options to choose from.
Cons
What I dislike the most about Paypal is their approach to keep your account verified, authenticated, and protected is so extreme, it enables you to access or move money in your account. Paypal will also put a hold on your account for months at a time if they assume you are selling an item on the platform, leaving you unable to access your money until the hold is lifted.

A high quality, easy-to-use daily money manager
Using PayPal has been an overall highly positive experience with very few setbacks.
Pros
This service makes managing payments securely a breeze I can control in and outgoing payments without having to access my bank account directly, and keep my personal information private.
Cons
Payment fees are a necessary cost of doing business, but can cause considerable losses regrettably. Prompting to add extra donations to payments is also a grievance of mine.

PayPal one of the Best Payment Plot forms
Overall PayPal is an efficient product that covers more than 90% of your payment needs, with its fast, flexible and secure features. Despite a few short falls, it's an excellent Product.
Pros
Its robust security features, speed of transactions and convenience for sending and receiving money, and the ability to make payments without needing a balance.
Cons
I would like for PayPal to improve customer service relations and support, as well as reducing the transfer time of PayPal to PayPal accounts to less than a day. I would also like for PayPal to allow its customers to add Bank accounts outside of United States.

PayPal-It's Been a Long Great Trip
Since 2006, both PayPal and my business have gone through changes, and both of us have had good and bad changes. PayPal has changed for the good (so have I, but this is not about me) and sometimes it is a hassle to learn these changes but that is just part of the business.
Overall, like any long-term relationship, there are ups and downs; luckily for me, the downs are short, and the u[ps are long.
Pros
Reliability is at the top of the list. PayPal as been around as long as I've been doing business online.
Cons
Listing something of a Con with PayPal is difficult because everything I think of turns out to be 'operator error' and has little to do with PayPal itself. I am sure there are negative points to any system that holds onto your funds, but so far (since 2006), I have not encountered any. <knocks on wood>

A Great Payment Solution
I have trusted PayPal for over twenty years. It's been easy to use whether online or locally for my book signings or readings. What I like best, is that in all my years of using it, I have never had a problem with my account. I use it to sell products and services and for subscriptions. As a consumer, they have helped me receive a refund when dealing with scammers.
Pros
It's a safe and easy means of doing business concerning payments that has a low commission rate. Also it's easy to transfer money to my bank or use my PayPal debit card. I have used PayPal for over twenty years.
Cons
Currently, to use PayPal at it's highest level, one has to be a programmer or hire a programmer to create professional purchasing buttons and pages PayPal offers. However, users can just create the order buttons easily to place on their websites with HTML code.

One of the most intuitive online payment and invoicing solutions but can get expensive and...
I used PayPal for over 10 years, to receive international payments to a personal account, send money to friends and family, and, occasionally, pay for various tools and products.
This year, after registering a new business entity, I switched from my personal PayPal account to a business account. They locked the money in my account for 3 weeks, with no way out. I tried contacting support, sent them details of my old account, ID, screenshots, service contract, invoice, etc. all the details I could think of to show that I've been receiving money regularly for services already rendered from the same person/company for 10 years with 0 chargebacks or disputes, and even my boss offered to confirm all details and waive any rights to chargebacks but they refused to unlock my account and release my money earlier. I understand the need to protect buyers but their inflexibility is insane and extremely disappointing. After this experience, my boss/client and I decided to use wire transfers to settle payments and, since then, I've saved close to $300/month total from payment fees, currency exchange rates, and withdrawal fees. I'm now using the free version of Zoho for invoicing. I guess PayPal is faster than international wire transfer and easier to use for invoicing than other 3rd party tools but the $300 I'm saving every month make the switch well worth it. I also have colleagues who switched from PayPal to Revolut and they say they've saved money and are very happy with their decision.
Pros
I used PayPal for 10 years to send invoices and get paid for freelance work, send payments to friends/family, and shop online. It's the most intuitive platform I've used, very flexible and accessible to everyone.
Cons
Their rules are rigid, the overall costs are high, and the customer service was inflexible, unhelpful.

Convenient and one of the best money apps out there
My overall experience has been super like i love it
Pros
I love so many things about paypal, first i love that you can link all your banks/debit cards/digital giftcards to it. Then i love that you can move money between accounts for a small fee along with you can add cash to the account as well at any participating retailers. I love that you can pick a monthly perk and receive cash back when purchasing anything from your selected category. Finally i absolutley love love the newest feature which is if you link your email accounts it tracks your packages from all over and keeps you updated on them!!!!
Cons

Trusted payment processor for your business
Paypal is my most trusted payment processor in my business. It seamlessly integrates with all of the platforms I use and allows me to transfer funds to my bank account easily as well as pay for other needs from the funds i've received through my business.
Pros
What I love about paypal is how many features it offers people either for their personal use or for business. It also has so many integrations that make it seamless to use across platforms. It is a trusted payment processor in my business.
Cons
I don't like that it takes 3-5 business days for my money to be transferred into my bank account without paying a fee for immediate processing.
