There is no need to pay for productivity
We've saved thousands and never missed a beat. This is a very simple way to move your software spending to a place where innovation actually matters; most of us are using productivity suites in the same way we have for decades.
Pros
LibreOffice is a highly mature, sophisticate, free and open source solution that does everything most companies need in an advanced productivity suite.
Cons
The documentation and help systems could be a little better. Impress and Draw are perhaps at a 95% level compared to Microsoft Office analogs. It would also be nice to see mobile or thin-client offerings develop a bit; these are now left to third parties like Collabra that offer these for a (less expensive) licensing fee. It is also important to remember that cloud storage systems like OneDrive are not bundled with LibreOffice.

LibreOffice, Free and Quality Alternative to Word
Overall, I've been very pleased. It handles large documents well. I often have to open several novels at a time and copy/paste large amounts. Most of the time, it even does this without a problem.
Pros
It works like older versions of Word, and I like that! Word has changed radically several times and I hated it. Version after version, the learning curve is not steep. Has all the features I need.
Cons
Have had some formatting problems, particularly with higher-numbered headings.

Basic software but with mediocre user interface
I’m also using it to automatically convert docx to pdf and for that use case it works well for simple docx files. For more complex files the output is sometimes messed up when there are headers/ footers, or background images.
It also works on windows, Linux and Mac which is great
Pros
It opens many types of files :
Docs, pptx, and xlsx but also the open formats odt, odd.
The basic features work pretty well
Cons
The ui is a bit cluttered, if you’re used to word it will seem more complex to use.
The rendering will differ sometimes compared to Microsoft office

Good enough for very basic use
I’ve used it when I needed text processing or basic spreadsheets, but it won’t be enough to replace it in somewhat advanced use cades.
Pros
It’s free and has a significant amount features, you’ll be able to do most of what you can do with other office suites.
Cons
Sometimes formatting by come become me troublesome and you can’t see files designed as they were in Microsoft office.

More than you will probably need.
I started using it back in the Open Office days before the fork to Libre Office and now I keep on using it as a professional graphic designer.
While not mission critical for my job, I do need to use office applications from time to time and Libre Office cover my needs fast and reliable.
I mostly use Writer that provide tools that you usually see in DTP applications. I also use Calc and Draw from time to time.
Specifically Draw is so stable and good that once there was a need to convert a landscape PPT from a client to portrait so I can print it, something that I would prefer Affinity Publisher any other day, but this would require some exporting that I simple didn't had time to do, and Draw managed just fine to open the PPT and had the tools to let me re-arrange everything and export to a PDF file that I then printed as booklet.
I have also installed it for my family members like my mother and sisters and all of them used Libre Office just fine, even if they only ever learned to use MS Office.
I do believe that most people don't need anything more than what Libre Office have to offer.
Pros
It is a full suite of office applications that for most people will do more than just fine.
Cons
Honestly there is not much not to like. It is not like I have found something that made me use something else

A Great eBook Creation Software
I've been using it for over three years. It has a great editor with many functions. There are regular updates with improved features. It's not any more difficult to learn than Microsoft Word, but it's not the same, so it took me a little time to learn the functions that I needed.
Pros
I use LibreOffice to secure my course ebooks after creating them in Microsoft Word. They offer more functions than Word to protect them from being copied I also use it to create short ebooks for my courses, art and to sell digital information. It's a great and diverse tool for ebook creation.
Cons
Although I'm able to make the ebook text documents created in Microsoft Word secure with passwords and disabling functions, the right margins are sometimes cut off.

An alternative option to Microsoft 365 products
I've been using LibreOffice as an alternative to Microsoft 365 products since they are not available on Linux. LibreOffice is really good, the performance is great and does all necessary functions.
Pros
The software is easy to install, it's light and fast, the interface is similar to other similar products, all features are easy to find.
Cons
Some feature icons are too small in my opinion.

LibreOffice Review
LibreOffice is a powerful, free office suite with strong file compatibility. However, its interface could be more polished, and performance may lag with larger documents.
Pros
I appreciate LibreOffice for being a powerful, open-source suite with a strong feature set and compatibility with various document formats. Its community-driven development ensures regular updates and improvements.
Cons
I find LibreOffice's interface to be less polished compared to some other office suites, which can make it feel less intuitive. Additionally, performance can lag with larger files or complex documents.

A good alternative to the Microsoft Office.
It's not bad for work, but I prefer Microsoft Office.

Cons

Response from The Document Foundation
You probably don't know that Microsoft 365 has fewer features than LibreOffice, which is comparable only to the desktop version of Microsoft Office. Of course, being more used to Microsoft 365 you know where to look for all features, but the opposite happens when you are used to LibreOfffice and look for features in Microsoft 365.

A strong and versatile suite for office productivity
An everyday tool that just does what I want, I don't have to think about it too much.
Pros
I found it easy to learn and with good support documentation on line. The ability to read and write in Microsoft formats is a big factor in choosing it.
Cons
On the odd occasion a document with lots of columns, inserted graphics and photos doesn't translate to Microsoft docx format in exactly the same way as I created it. I've always found a way around the issue.

All the documents
I use the writer document and calc spreadsheet daily. It has always worked great for me.
Pros
I use the free version. I used to use Microsoft Office products but they became too expensive. Libre Office does everything Microsoft Office does. You don't have to worry about a yearly subscription.
Cons
I do not have any complaints about LibreOffice. There is very little difference between this and Microsoft products.

Value for money
Pros
I like the fact that it needs no introduction to its features. Anyone can easily navigate through all widgets. I enjoy working with its document management feature.
Cons
Only the image editing... Cropping on this software is sloppy and can be improved. And they can also fix the lag

Great open-source office suite
Recommended - covers 95% of your office suite needs, while remaining free and open-source.
Pros
Being open-source and free is the main advantage of LibreOffice. This is a huge advantage, and the vast majority of features and functionality you'd expect from an office suite are available here. Importing from common file types (such as the MS Office file types) is also easy.
Cons
Can be somewhat limited when trying to do specific, more advanced things, when compared to MS Office and paid alternatives.
