The starter house of project managment software
I've used Asana for 7 or 8 years and I've never had a bad experience, It's always been good. But the limitations are usually what turns me away
Pros
I love how easy it is to share projects on there, and one of my favorite features is having a template which can be applied to any project
Cons

Indispensable tool for larger projects
I used Asana for various projects in private and business context. Especially in larger teams or teams with agile workflow Asana is a huge help.
Pros
Easy project management with a variety of tools that support with planning and tracking. Easy collaboration and nice views for better insights in current status and ongoing tasks. The comment sections makes it easy to ask questions to other team members.
Cons
Free plan has some limitations. Unfortunately, they discontinued the "free for students" offer. This is a huge drawback since I used to teach my students some advanced aspects of project management using Asana Premium features as an example.

I Truly Tried
Honesty, I have tried 4 different times to like Asana. I was originally introduced to it through a job, and had no control over the setup, look or functioning. It felt cumbersome and inefficient. First impression, hated it. About a year and a half later, I was reintroduced to it, also in a work/team setting. I learned a little more, and was still not a fan. Attempt #3 was on my own. I found a training class and took it, thinking that the more that I knew about the functioning, I would probably like it better. I did, a little bit, but by then I had been introduced to Trello, and Asana did not measure up. I'm currently using it again in a work/team manner, and have come to accept it. I still don't love it based on a few features (for example, if someone assigns me a task, but hasn't tagged what project it is, I am flying blind), but I have, for the most part, learned it and accept it in situations where I don't get to choose.
One feature that I absolutely LOVE about Asana though is contingent tasks. If, for example, I'm waiting for a certain contract addendum, I can put that in as a task, and when it comes in and I click the "completed" button, the next task (that couldn't have been done without the first) shows up. Of course, this is something that has to be set up when the project is created, but it is VERY handy as I'm working my way through.
Pros
Dependent tasks (contingencies). This feature is brilliant.
Cons
Very bland, not hard to use, but not easy, either.

The best way to get your projects done!
The best way to make projects look like a game. You have a nice animations when you complete a task and it really makes doing work more fun.
Pros
The best thing is the free version for small teams. If you are starting your business or you have a smaller team it is the best. Great way to experience how things work.
Cons
From start it was a bit tricky to navigate between free and paid options.

Good for teams, a little bit overwhelming
Asana works well for team projects, keeps things organized, but can feel a bit much at times. Good for bigger projects, but maybe overkill for simpler stuff
Pros
I like how easy it is to track projects and see who's doing what. The layout is simple and it keeps everything in one place. Makes teamwork less messy
Cons
Can get a little bit overwhelming with too many tasks and notifications. Sometimes it feels like more work just managing the work

A powerful tool but might be too much for small teams/businesses
Overall it's a great app, I think it's just not for me. But I can see why so many businesses use it. It's powerful and capable.
Pros
Asana has a sleek modern interface, is used by many companies, and offers a wide range of tools for task and project management.
Cons
For me personally, Asana always felt like too much to handle. With a lot of tasks on my plate as both an employee and manager using Asana on multiple different occasions, I always felt like the app offers way too much for me to comprehend with my busy schedule and limited resources.

Great PM Tool for a Range of Business Budgets
Overall, very pleased with the simple free limited plan. While there are some neat features available in the paid plan, the free limited plan does offer some level of customization. Team members can customize project fields to fit specific needs. It also offers positive reinforcement in the form of fun animations when getting started. It's also nice to be able to utilize the list form, the board form, and the calendar. It's a great tool for organizations of all sizes, but super helpful for those with tight budgets. It allows teams with limited budgets to get started with a solid tool and upgrade when resources in place without having to switch to a different tool altogether.
Pros
Love the ease of creating and assigning tasks for various projects. My team and I can easily track our work, collaborate, update notes, change status, and more.
Cons
I would like to see a bit more flexibility in changing color layout on the free version.

I'm in LOVE!
It has been a life saver and honestly I could not manage my team without it.
Pros
The calendar view. In one screen I can see what my entire team has going in the upcoming days and how full our schedule is.
Cons
The phone app. I wish it was a little more robust. Lacking the calendar view is what I dislike the most about the app and why I don't use it much in my manager roll.

Asana Keeps Life Organized!
My overall experience with Asana with Asana was great! I still continue to use them because they keep me and all my projects on time and everything in my life organized. I have 8 million projects going on at all times and they keep me up to date and me on time, so I don't get lost in what I am doing. Between being a student and a self-employed employed worker Asana is a blessing!
Pros
What I loved about Asana was that it was very easy to use! It was also a project management software that was made for someone who is a one man show or someone that has a team of people working for them as well. They don't rope you by making them buy their software outright they give you a free trial first which is great because it allows you to see if it is a good fit for you and your team first. It keeps track of everything you are doing and makes sure you are getting everything you are done on time so that you aren't falling behind. You can also use this app on your phone and on your computer which is great because not everything be can done on your phone.
Cons
The only thing that I didn't that I did not like about it was that unless you had internet you could not use it and when I went to a different for country for business there was an issue with the time. And when I looked into it, it said that there was native time keeping for Asana.

An Absolute Must to Stay Sane During the Workday
Asana has made my productivity increase greatly. When I share tips and tricks with my team they're amazed at how much more efficient they can be. I don't think I could work without Asana. If my company didn't provide Asana for us, I would still use it.
Pros
It keeps me organized!! It is so easy to see what I have to do, what others on my team are working on, and when everything is getting done. I love how we can communicate in Asana, provide updates on workflows, and easily adjust as needed. It's amazing that we can work with clients on other boards and just overall streamline workstreams.
Cons
That not everyone uses it, so sometimes have to figure out how to get people on board or integrate our system with theirs.

Asana Collaboration as a powerful engine
The ease of use, together with highly advanced collaborative features, have revolutionized how we engage content. It has cut down emails and minimized their chiming with more efficient ways of giving an individual a task, due date, and feedback at once.
Pros
Asana sets apart from the competition, where it offers Timeline, which is a perfect display of project layout to identify causes for delays.
Cons
Perhaps one of Asana’s weaknesses is its search ability. It is difficult to locate particular activities or discussions, particularly when a project comprises many tasks.

If you’re losing track of projects by not using a Project Management System, You need ASANA!
I became a certified asana pro when I was first starting out as a virtual assistant I think it’s such a powerhouse platform that can really manage projects and milestones I highly recommend it for both personal and professional use.
Pros
I love the ability to use this platform for both internal projects and client facing updates, I work on several teams where we can easily move the project to the next person once it goes through each phase until final approvals are complete. It streamlines the workflow and allows for us to share necessary information to complete each tasks.
Cons
I think it can be easily used improperly which can lead to missed deadlines/communications I think it could have some better resources for agencies.

How does Asana help a team of affiliate marketing managers?
Asana has been a great tool for project management. It's intuitive once you get the hang of it and really helps streamline team collaboration and task tracking.
Pros
The main highlight for me is how Asana helps organize tasks and projects visually. The customizable boards, lists, and timelines make it easy to manage workflows and collaborate with my team.
Cons
The learning curve can be a bit steep for new users. Some features, like reporting and task dependencies, are more complex and require extra time to set up properly. However after becoming comfortable with Asana and its features, it is an undeniably useful tool.

Improve project planning, collaboration and management with Asana, a top-rated tool.
Asana helped us come out of the deep hole of poor project management. It help us to effectively plan and strategize our project activities making it possible to achieve the project objectives within the right time. Asana has also given us a very simple collaboration experience allowing us to work more better together than before.

A solid intermediate project management tool
It's a positive experience when using Asana for our clients. It's not our tool of choice however, but it's good for that particular use-case.
Pros
Asana is a solid project management tool. I'd say it's an intermediate tool, with very good basics and plenty of more advanced features. I like the customisability and the way they organise projects and teams. The number of different views on each screen makes it easy to monitor projects "at a glance" and these filters serve as shortcuts into more detailed screens.
Cons
Asana is not the most advanced project management tool, and it doesn't target any specific niche. This means that you'll both find features many people will never use, while also missing some features you might need. One of the biggest flaws for me is the poor editability of messages and task descriptions. This makes Asana a no-go for any company with a writing culture, and often makes asynchronous communication harder.

It is easy to use and helps smaller teams keep track of their work.

Can’t live without it!
I would call my experience with Asana a game-changer. I would also call it an “industry changer”, because I have seen the impact it has had on productivity in both companies I have worked for that implemented Asana into their workflow. I don’t know how the current company where I work could run if it didn’t have Asana. And I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to do my job without it.
Pros
I like that the capabilities are endless for how you can set up projects and processes to work best for your specific company or team. I also love that, on a daily basis, I discover some new way that Asana can make my job more efficient and streamlined.
Cons
Changing the “time” in the due date field is a little wonky if you are trying to type it in and not use the drop-down. But that’s the only minor annoyance I have.
