Why we LOVE Dayforce
Dayforce has changed our life for the better
Pros
Ease of use for Payroll staff. end user training is a breeze

Dayforce Provides An Innovative All-In-One Solution
I have been using Dayforce for almost 10 years. We still don't use all the modules (even though I would like to) but I hope we get there in the next few years. The features we currently use have positively impacted our efficiency and accountability. I greatly enjoyed attending the Insights conferences for several years and look forward to the new Discover Dayforce event this year. The FIT sessions, demonstrations, product updates, and opportunities to meet one-on-one with customer support reps are extremely valuable.
Pros
Everything is in one place and they are constantly innovating by adding or updating features to manage the changing needs of employers and the workforce. I feel comfortable with their efforts to ensure the highest levels of compliance.
Cons
Like every application there are little quirks and malfunctions from time to time. I have found Dayforce support to be helpful in these cases. Also, since it is such a robust system it can take a while to learn your way around, but the community and support portal provide needed resources.

Untrained Staff
Long long wait time to get to support. Then was put on even longer holds with no explanation as why. Was passed three times from one person to the next. A bunch of untrained kids have been put on the phones who do not even know how to talk and empathies with customer. No apology for the long holds. They won't even listen when you try to explain the problem.
Pros
They used to have a very good customer support line, but not anymore.
Cons
The product is good and works fine as long as you don't have to deal with their support over the phone.

Dayforce - a very intuitive sytem.
Transitioning from an in-house system to Dayforce is the best decision we ever made. Although implementation during covid was rough, and going live, we still have many policies not correctly configured. But after 3 years of using dayforce, I was able to modify some entitlement policies, pay policies that were not working properly. I do not have a computer programming background but the dayforce is so intuitive that I was able to do so.
Pros
The dayforce system is very intuitive. The continues calculation is a hot seller for me.
Cons
Initially reporting is the feature I liked least but once I'm getting the hang of it, it's not too bad.

Dayforce - Almost Perfect Platform for HR & Payroll
I've been using Dayforce as a Payroll administrator for the last 5 years. My experience has been very good. One of the best platforms I've used for Payroll.
Pros
The fact that HR and Payroll are linked together in one seamless application. The web interface and mobile app are very well-designed and useful.
Cons
Dayforce has an enormous amount of data that can be accessed—so much in fact that finding the right report to include all the data you want can be overwhelming. Not all the data is transferable between reports. For example, Timesheet data is not always able to be included with Payroll data.

Dayforce - A workplace must
It has been a positive user experience and easy to use. I have also enjoyed the app’s layout and variety. Due to this I prefer it to its competitors
Pros
I use Dayforce for work and is my new favourite amongst the rostering platforms. Training tasks can be completed from Dayforce and it allows for details about training and upcoming shift information. The homepage layout provides a suitable amount of personalised content regarding upcoming work preventing endless searching. The platform is also easily accessible from the web and the app.
Cons
Be weary of any potential extra costs to gain access to extra features

Great System, but only as good as the effort you put in.
I like the system a lot, but it is so extensive that it's impossible for any super user to really understand all of the granular functionality/configuration.
Pros
Flexibility and constant innovation. The software is intuitive but does need IT/Financial Analyst support to really have it set up well.
Cons
Some things that should be included in the software (basic reports) require that you pay for customization. Not a big fan of the transition from implementation to support. The hand off is very abrupt.

Dayforce User/Admin 5+ years
Our overall experience with Dayforce has been great, we have used it for 5+ years and don't plan on leaving anytime soon!
Pros
I like that the system is very intuitive and has many modules that we use and connect. We used Dayforce for payroll, benefits, recruiting, performance, compensation, and so on. The system is very user friendly and easy to use.
We also use Dayforce Wallet which is the on demand pay feature and is a huge sucess with our employees.
Cons
We struggle occasionally with bugs within certain modules, specifically recruiting. When this happens it's very hard to complete tasks.

Dayforce HCM Review
Dayforce HCM is definitely the most powerful payroll system that I have used in a long time. It is my top choice when it comes to Payroll and HCM providers.
Pros
The implementation team was very knowledgeable and they listened to what we had and how we wanted to improve the new system. They were so easy to work with.
Cons
Wishing that some of the fixed reports would be flexible and could add information that would save us time from having to vlookup different reports together.

Does the job
Generally positive. It's niche for certain industries, US or Canada are great.
Pros
Effective and customizable US timetracking, labor cost features, balance tracking, and payroll processing.
Cons
Recruiting/Candidate functions are clunky and not fully integrated in a meaningful way. Forms/workflows require a lot of expertise and trial/error. Majority countries in APAC are not 'native' payroll engines, so there's a lot of rules and parameters, not a lot of flexibility or automation without some out-of-system workarounds.

Dayforce Live customer since 2014
Having 3 countries live is hard but I wish we could do more for the simple items. For example, ROE in Canada, mainstream it instead of putting it in Payroll only.
Pros
The live payroll information. Being able to see a moment in time pay check. No wait needed.
Cons
The color, it's all white and it gets a little to bright. We need an option to switch to dark mode.

Overall I was very satisfied with the experience I had with dayforce.
Pros
What I liked most is the easy way it kept track of my work hours and when combined with day force daily pay, I always had access to funds if I really needed to.

Overall I enjoy Dayforce, it makes daily HR stuff easier
Pros
The ease of use and constant updating to make the system better. they have a great conference with great sessions that help you level up your Dayforce knowledge and skills
Cons

Six Years with Dayforce
Pros
The routine basics of setting up payroll including any adjustments for each pay period works smoothly. The audit features in the system highlight issues that should be looked at more closely before committing the pay. I like the export feature within the payroll process and use it to complete most analyses needed.
Cons
Other than standard reports, I feel that creating specialized reports has too many complications. I also think that adding/editing the General Ledger setup is too complex.

Dayforce
I’m very happy with Dayforce.
Pros

Overall I enjoy using Dayforce HCM. I do a lot of the set up for our organization and finding the direction/guidance needed using the Dayforce support system is very helpful. I also use the people feature on a daily basis as well as benefits. The product evolves with the times and is constantly being upgrading with new features.
Pros
Dayforce has an ease of use, moving around the different functions available in the people feature such as Work, Personal, Employment, Payroll, everything you need is at your fingertips

Ask the questions up front
Dayforce has automated some of our HR services
Pros
It’s cloud based so it can be accessed from anywhere.
Cons
The reporting, however ax compliance, & customer service is something that needs help. The response to issues (always an issue somewhere) is not communicated. They just tell you it’s fixed. It’s difficult to deal with people in another country that don’t understand our laws.
