Highly efficient program that every business should use.

The software has been instrumental in automating financial operations at my company and has had a profound effect on the effectiveness and precision of our bookkeeping.

Pros

Having several options for making and receiving payments is really convenient. We particularly appreciate the centralized accounting for both payables and receivables and the flexibility to modify approval methods.

Cons

There are certain annoyances and clumsiness that need to be worked out. If you click into one of the selected bills to view its underlying image, for instance, you will deselect all of the bills you have previously approved and will have to do so again.

Perfect billing solution for businesses small and large!

Overall, I have been extremely happy using BILL. My clients are easily able to access and pay invoices, and I am able to set up my clients with recurring invoices, to alleviate extra work for me.

Pros

BILL is very easy to use, with lots of options for sending out invoices, receiving payments, etc

Cons

As with most software, BILL pushes hard for you to pay to upgrade your account.

BILL Accounts Payable & Receivable - Review

I am extremely disappointed with Bill.com’s service. The process of verifying my account has been unnecessarily complex, frustrating, and riddled with delays. Despite submitting multiple identification documents (including my driver’s license, utility bill, and bank statement), they insisted on a selfie holding my ID—something I’ve never encountered even when opening bank accounts.

This experience was reminiscent of dealing with a crypto scam company rather than a legitimate financial service provider. The delays in receiving my payment, the constant requests for more documentation, and the lack of transparency in their verification process left me with serious concerns about their credibility. Even after all my submissions, I was told that further delays would occur, taking several more business days.

I’ve worked with major financial institutions, and they handle similar processes in a fraction of the time. Bill.com’s overly complex verification requirements and poor communication have severely impacted my trust in their service. Once I receive my payment, I will be canceling my account and ensuring my data is securely removed from their systems.

I would not recommend Bill.com to anyone who values efficient, straightforward, and transparent financial service.

Pros

Nothing,.. The live agent was polite and tried to be helpful despite the frustrating verification process.

Cons

The verification process was overly complex, with constant requests for documentation and significant delays, making it extremely difficult to receive payments efficiently.

Great app for simplified business accounting

All experience has been relatively simplified and one of the better business accounts to manage Business expenses, and cash flow

Pros

I like how easy it was to set up an immediately put to use in order to get paid from customers with various payment options

Cons

I don’t like that there aren’t more options for the subscription. All the options available are kind of pricey.

Bill can help you streamline your day to day accounting needs

Very easy to use and was a breeze to set up

Pros

There is an option for them to email the customer to let them know you have received the invoice.

Cons

The emails come from "Bill" which some customers then assume it is spam. I think it should reference accounting in their title.

Bill.com is the slowest invoicing and funding provider of them all.

Worst ever. It takes a minimum of 45 minutes for an answer from chat support. It doesn't feel like anyone really cares about our time.

Pros

Bill.com is secure and it integrates with most accounting platforms.

Cons

The customer (not us) has a lot of control in scheduling the payment amount and date. The customer can also change the scheduled date even after it looks like its been paid. Whereas from our shoes we need to know we have been paid before we ship the product. After the invoice shows as paid the funding takes 7-8 business days or longer by ACH. This just isn't competitive. Its obvious that in addition to the 79 fee for use of the software that most of their revenue is generated by float on both our receivables and our payables. We don't want anyone to wait. It's important that all parties get paid as immediate as possible.

Pro Bill User

I am an employee and use this to help the finance team. Before using BILL we would have to hand receipts and purchase orders directly to someone in finance. It was inefficient and many employees would forget. Now i can do it at the time of purchase.

Pros

It is so easy for employees to use and upload their receipts.

Cons

There isn't anything I do not like. I like everything about it.

Great, User-Friendly Program

Bill has made it simple to file for reimbursement for personal expenses during work trips. It's a no-nonsense way to receive payments.

Full of bugs. Avoid at all cost

Their product is full of bugs. I couldn't enter my address so I was not able to get paid.

A Bit Pricey

I was not very happy. It was a bit overpriced and they were not receptive at all in helping me or negotiating.

Pros

This product was easy to use and utilize.

Cons

The pricing was the thing I liked least. The product seemed pretty high for the volume we did. We changed to melio. I also had to provide an accountants dashboard at $50 a month for my clients to get their product. Their product was still usually 70-80 a month. We switched to melio and pay less than $20 a month.

My 2 years experience with Bill.com

Pros

- We use BILL(Bill.com) for processing and payment of invoices and to manage vendors. - We are able to use Bill.com provide timely payments and managing vendors. - AI recognitions of invoices is useful- Easy to enter bills, track bills and apply payment to bills which are already paid.- Availability of reports.- Availability of payment methods like Check and E-payment for US vendors and Wire for international vendors.

Cons

- Sometimes facing issues with connecting vendors to E-payment or Wire payment.- Tech support is only available by chat.- Sync errors should give more detail on what's causing the issue- There are no issues apart from above, if i encounter any issues in future i can edit this review.

AP made easier

Over all I love using BILL daily for AP processing.

Pros

The interface of BILL is easy to navigate and user-friendly compared to QB.

Cons

I occasionally get frustrated with the AI auto-populating feature while processing invoices.

Bill , automate invoices

Something that could stand out and that helps its use a lot is its interface is simple without complicated menus and easy to use, this makes it productive and easy to adapt to new users, since it doesn’t require as much training to become familiar with the platform, in addition to has predefined templates that are ready to use

Pros

What I like about Bill is that it helps to automate finances. In my company we use it to process invoices and it does so in a matter of minutes. I like that it can be done in many ways to upload an invoice from your computer, emails or from your mobile phone with just a photo, Bill is a great help for the digital transformation of finance. He is scalable and can quickly generate invoices. Bill has a track status system that notifies if an invoice has been sent and thus have better control.

Cons

Something I don't like is that customer service is very slow to answer, when you need immediate attention this can be critical, since it delays the process due to long waiting times. A problem I've had is that I can't send many emails since they take it as duplicates, but this is due to the slow response they give in this way.

Bill makes it easy to receive ACH payments from clients

Overall, Bill is a smooth, fast, and easy way to receive payments from clients paying via ACH.

Pros

Bill is a low-friction way of receiving payments for invoices. Even though I do not invoice through Bill, many of my clients use it to provide ACH payment, and this is quick and easy for all parties.

Cons

At first, I did not really understand what Bill was, as I was asked to join because a client wanted to use it to pay me. I have received multiple phone calls from Bill asking me for more information about my business, and I have declined, as I have no desire to add more features or upgrade my account because I am currently content with the way it works now.

Getting our money on time

Pros

Some clients pay our invoices through Bill and it's so easy, Set up took a minute but after that, it's completely, well, non complicated. Like a good flight, when someone asks you about your flight you say "uh, it was fine.' because everything went as expected. Bill is the same.

Cons

Sometimes on high use days the interface is not as lightning fast as it is on other days.

Bill.com is a scam

This company is a scam. I have, in writing, confirmation of my credit limit, statement credit and monthly rewards. Even with confirmation in writing for months now, my credit limit was reduced with no notification and on time payments since inception.

Pros

It works when it wants to and when it does, it's fine. This shouldn't be complicated. It is a credit card.

Cons

Auto payments drafted from my account monthly which is fine. I usually pay all of my credit cards earlier than the due date anyways.

Seems secure but user interface a bit clunky

Pros

The transactions seems secure which is really important whenever it comes to billing and invoicing, payments and transfer of funds.

Cons

The user interface for the dashboard and reporting of transactions somehow is kind of clunky and not the most intuitive.

Overall bill.com has made my job so much easier.

Pros

It makes paying our monthly bills so much easier than I had expected. Loooooove this software!

Cons

I wish I could send out 3 invites to new vendors instead of just two.

Worst Experience with Any Bill Payment Provider

Pros

We did not have any good experience with Bill.

Cons

Bill.com was been the worst payment provider our business has ever worked with. The customer service email disregards everything that you say, they do not allow you to call in with any questions or concerns. The company withheld funds for work we had performed for over 4 weeks without cause. This is a very shady and untrustworthy enterprise!

My Experience With Bill

Overall my experience with Bill was good and I got my payment very quickly.

Pros

Bill is an easy way for me to receive payment from brands who hire me as a freelancer.

Cons

It's a tad bit more expensive than I was expecting.

Easy to use software for invoice approvals

Pros

Bill.com is easy to set up and use. I love the simplicity of approving partner invoices.

Cons

The reporting feature needs some upgrades. I would like the ability to see what individuals above me have approved in order to communicate timeliness with my partners.
