Pros
Excel is a powerful spreadsheet application with limitless applications. It is offered at a discount to non-profit organizations and is essential in dealing with data, BI, and in dealing with accounting.

Microsoft Excel - Spreadsheet software for formatting and analysis
I appreciate utilizing and becoming familiar with Excel. There are several ways of utilizing it and making it personal for your work. It is extremely practical for data management and is extremely easy to use all functions and features.
Pros
It is so flexible to use. Rather than using Adding machine, I can undoubtedly see what I'm computing. It encompasses all of my finance framework and it is involved in my weekly computations. Ascertaining utilizing fields from different pages is excellent and effortless to use. Any work concerning bookkeeping, organization, and computations can be feasible by using Microsoft Excel.
Cons
Firstly, it doesn't come free with your PC. Therefore, you would likely need to purchase it, and it may be somewhat costly for some individuals. However, you may pay it monthly, which can be more sufficient and affordable for those who aren't willing to pay the full yearly cost upfront.
While LibreOffice may be a more ideal choice for a PC, Microsoft office 365 offers other services that are easier to work with, especially for users who aren't as knowledgeable about computers or technology as a whole. However, Google Docs/Excel is free and also very easy to use.
Although other platforms offer similar services, Office 365 (Excel) is an ideal choice for personal work.

Comprehensive review of Ms Excel and it's utter usefulness.
It is highly useful for managing, analyzing, and visualizing data through its extensive array of built-in functions, formulas, and charting tools.
Pros
It is a versatile tool widely used across various industries for tasks ranging from data entry and budgeting to complex financial modeling and statistical analysis. Its intuitive interface, with a familiar grid of rows and columns, makes it accessible to both beginners and advanced users. Excel's advanced analytical tools- such as PivotTables, Power query and robust charting capabilities, allow for comprehensive data analysis and visualization.
It has vast set of built-in formulas and functions for mathematical, statistical, financial, and logical operations, enhancing productivity and accuracy. Users can automate repetitive tasks using Macros and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), saving time and reducing errors. Data management features, including sorting, filtering, and data validation, enable efficient handling of large data. It's versatility, user-friendly interface, advanced tools, and strong community support make it an essential application for personal and professional use.
Cons
It can become cumbersome with large datasets, leading to slow performance and crashes.Security is a concern, as files can be easily accessed or altered without proper protection. Excel’s steep learning curve for advanced features requires significant training. It’s not ideal for creating complex or visually appealing reports compared to specialized software. Reliance on manual data entry increases the risk of human error, potentially resulting in significant inaccuracies in critical business applications.

A well developed and very capable program
I find this to be a reliable and essential tool for my buisness. Even when I'm stuck it's not too hard to discover how to move forward.
Pros
I like how capable the softwear is. I feel like when there is something I need to achieve that I "think" it should be able to do, i'm often right. It can. I just need to learn how to do it. And a quick google almost always get's me a fast answer and I'm moving forward. It's not too complex.
Cons
There isn't much I don't like about the softwear. Mainly I just wish I knew how to employ it to it'd full ability, becuase I know it can do more that I can do at the moment.

Great full fledge data tool
Great tool which I am already using for 16 years.
Pros
I use Excel daily for all kinds of tasks, like analysis, data manipulation, charting/data visualization.
The power of formulas for me is key. I have to do quite some data manipulation and calculations to get at certains conlcusions.
Pivot tables is another often used tool, great dynamic analytical tool.
Cons
Sometimes my formulas don't work, hard to understand why that is. Now with AI, it would be great if users get hints/support from AI (like chatgpt) to fix certain formulas or even more high level, get a full task done (kind of macro, but then done for you)

There are a lot of things i use in Excel, formulas and charts creations are the main reason i use it. I could say is easy to use and become easier day by day.
Cons
Collaboration in the cloud can be a little tricky, if 2 persons update it in the same time data could be lost.

Overall, Excel is extremely valuable and easy to use for my financial analyses.
Pros
I really like all the features within Excel. It really makes analysis easy and customizable. I really like the integration with PowerQuery as it makes it easy to create reporting from other sources.
Cons
Mostly small things. Formatting can take some time. Copying only rows that are visible should be more intuitive when working with a filtered data set.
