It is not an ERP system, it's just a POS system. We have to switch to an ERP that also has POS.

We were a small business back then and it was good enough for taking orders and send them to the kitchen KDS.

Pros

They have so much potential if they could get the communication down. It’s been one person says this and one person says that. Basically don’t believe anything they say in the sales pitch unless it’s in crystal clear writing. They will say anything to get the sell.

Everything I said about. The miscommunication and false information.

Because I was told many things about my startup and unfortunately it was false to get me to sign up. Again get everything in writing. Everything to a T.

Service has been readily available to answer questions. Staff are kind and available.

Cons

There are several functions that are not yet available or not best suited for our needs and for our business style and key protection for our industry with user levels are lacking.

The functionality for our complex needs needs to be improved.

Very simple to use and learn. 24 hour Customer support is very understandable and makes troubleshooting very easy.

Not transparent with the charges. I was not told about the card point charges. Also no warning of Lavu being cancelled. So I cannot access the reports.

Equipment offer included in price was very important to me in making a decision.

-Their user interface is beginner friendly and pretty straightforward.
-Customer Service is very helpful in solving issues

Cons

On the back end, as someone using the control panel often, there are some complications that could be put forward in a simpler way.
E.g Multiple store locations are all separated on the control panel with no option for one big "All Stores"

Zoom calls to help us along with set up and the instructions.

Slow getting things set up and running but after the zoom calls all is good.

I could never get any help on how to set it up and how to use it.

The menu is what I need it. The put everything in for me.

There is nothing I don’t like about it the system is amazing.

We tried other POS systems but customizing was expensive and they didn't work as we wanted them to. Lavu system multi purpose-built with the features and reporting were right on and we were able to merge it to our own easily and they work great.

So far anything we have ran across we have been able to solve rather easily and smoothly. We haven't encountered a true negative.

Ease of setup and on the fly changes made it a preferred candidate for the business.

We're a small restaurant operating outside the US, and Lavu is a great option for us. Easy to use, with lots of customer support in setting up and deploying the system in multiple langauges!

So far, we have no complaints and are really satisfied with the system and the support.

Lavu's price point was better for us, especially since the payment processing functions are not available in our country -- the other companies didn't offer any price adjustment for this. Also, Lavu is made for restaurants specifically, and offers integrated inventory management as well as add-on accounting integration. As a package Lavu is the best for us.

was able to work it out for training to happen after work and everyone was so nice and so helpful!!

on my go live i had problems with my hotspot but that is the only thing and you can't help with that..

We've been in business since 2018 and we have used 4 different POS and spoken with many other people who what us to become their POS customer. [sensitive content hidden] was very good and following up and that was why we chose to give Lavu a try. We are looking forward to our new loyal customers program the POS has and a few other perks. All in the all, if we great and have a company be so forwarding thinking and honest.

Well the worst part of about any POS is the onboarding but that is what it is.
