Paycom is the way to go!

My experience with Paycom has been great and hassle free!

Pros

I loved how Paycom is so simple to use that even I can use it with ease!

Cons

I haven't found anything that I don't like about Paycom.

The best HR system I've ever worked with

My overall experience with Paycom has been nothing but positive. It just works...all the time. And when I need assistance, it's just a phone call or email away.

Pros

Paycom's customer support is so good. They actually reach out to me more than I have to reach out to them. When I do need help, I call the support team and get immediate assistance. They are also constantly improving their software, without breaking things that work in the process. I couldn't be happier with my Paycom experience.

Cons

The cost is a bit higher than others, but it's worth it for the consistency, customer support and regular development of new features.

Great for small Businesses

Not horrible but not for us being a larger company at the time.

Pros

The initial user interface is pretty easy to navigate

Cons

The system for us was a little to clunky in how it performed. We had some errors happen upon launch that caused some issues with W2's etc.

HR Director

My overall experience with Paycom since the beginning has been positive and seamless.

Pros

You can have everything in 1 place for every employee from time-off, scheduling, timeclock, applicant tracking, background checks, onboarding, benefits enrollment, documents, notifications to employees, easy reporting and many more features. It is easy to use and navigate.

Cons

I have no dislikes about Paycom. I am 100% a Paycom fan.

Paycom is Amazing!

I have worked with Paycom at three different organizations over more than 3 years. I absolutely LOVE Paycom and would change to this platform anywhere I go.

Pros

The ease of use and ability to customize the platform to our individual needs.

Cons

Slow to get custom reporting built. It seems to take an extensive amount of time to get approval for, price out and actually build a custom report.

Paycom - A well-rounded HRIS system

Overall happy with the system. There are always improvements we wish were available, and Paycom is willing to submit these suggestions as future improvements - but the system works for our needs with an employee count that falls within the 200-500 range.

Pros

The functionality just makes sense. We are able to use all of the benefits of the system together to have some automations within our HRIS system.

Cons

The lack of integration with other systems. We really want our other vendors/retirement services/etc. to have 360 integrations.

I LOVE Paycom

I LOVE Paycom. I've been with Paycom since 2016 and have converted two different companies/employers. I always tell people that no software is perfect, but Paycom is as close as it gets for me. It's a great, all-inclusive platform that is easy to use and highly customizable!

Pros

It's an all-in-one system that is user friendly!

Cons

Some customer experience has been lost as the company has grown. It makes absolutely makes sense from a streamlining, efficiency and liability standpoint, but the personal touch/assistance also decreases with these changes.

PayCom Experience

Overall, we have been with PayCom almost 6 years. The majority of our contact people have been very good. They tend to promote their people quickly so transitioning to a new rep can be a challenge.

Pros

They did an excellent job onboarding us. The initial training and involvement for our first year was great. They really made us feel welcome.

Cons

It has taken awhile to address our attendance point challenges.

Good software but still needs improved.

I would still choose Paycom over the competitors, but do wish that customer support was stronger.

Pros

Implementation was done so well, our Paycom team took the time to understand our every need.

Cons

After implementation the customer support was lacking. Our client support specialist was not responsive, and we were given a new specialist almost every month.

Paycom is the best!

Pros

Paycom is EXTREMELY user friendly and has taken so much tedious work off my plate as an HR Manager! Before Paycom, I have 7 different systems that I would bounce between which housed various types of employee data, and to be able to have all of that, and MORE, in one system has been amazing! In addition, the employee visibility / ownership has been a huge positive shift and they are happier to have the ability to do so many things at their fingertips. I would have to say my favorite Paycom feature is "Approve My Check". This has eliminated ALL human error with payroll!

Cons

There is nothing so far that I do not like, but I will say the hardest feature to learn and get used to is reporting. It is very extensive and customizable, which is great and what every company needs, but getting to what you need takes a great deal of time in the beginning. Once you figure it out, its smooth sailing from there.

Paycom is the better alternative

Overall I have really enjoyed the ease of use and streamlined experience.

Pros

Paycom has all the same benefits that the big names like ADP have for a better price.

Cons

PTO accruals and usage is somewhat confusing.

Amazing HR Software

Fantastic! I love being able to review my timecard for each shift. I can see how much PTO I have, do assigned trainings for my company and even see my tax info/W2s super easily without having to wait for the mail to come

Pros

Super easy to navigate. I love being able to manage my timecard, HR info and trainings all in once place.

Cons

Nothing. I love how much there is that can be done with Paycom.

User-Friendly Payroll Software for Employees

As an employee, overall this is a simple user-friendly program for managing compensation and I've been happy with it in the 6 months we've had it in use.

Pros

Very easy to use as an employee. Easy to access current pay stubs, total pay, withholdings and contributions for the year. The "Approve my Check" function is very nice to make sure there are no errors before paychecks are processed.

Cons

I have not had any significant issues with the software.

Review of the newly implemented Paycom system

From sales, to purchase to implementation and go live it remains a great experience.

Pros

The reporting package is above and beyond. The tracking feature has enhanced our reports exponentially.

Cons

The multiple authentications to log in and repeat phone calls.

Happy Paycom User

Overall a great experience and am really happy we made the transition to Paycom last year.

Pros

The support we've received from the Paycom team has been incredible - from implementation through benefit enrollment and now day to day support, the team has always been reactive, pleasant and truly helpful.

Cons

Reporting. I would love to see more dynamic, easier to navigate reporting functions. I find the analytics dashboard is not as intuitive as I thought it would be and it's harder to pull data that I fill confident in (turnover is an example). Would love the ability to see executive dashboard reporting that is easy to use and manage.

The smartest decision for a better HR

Pros

The amount of information available to our employees now compared to our previous provider. It is like the curtain to their time and attendance, pay, and everything else was finally removed. Their customer service is top notch, and very responsive to any inquiry we have. Our integration of Paycom was smoothy then we originally thought, and our transition team made it so much easier. We are constantly at or above a 98% Direct Data Exchange rate, which has taken all the extra workload off the HR department. The features that are offered are far superior to what we had in the past, and we are finding out that Paycom integrates with almost all the benefits that we offer which help to reduce even more workload. The App, and website are super easy to use, and the multi-language feature is top notch.

Cons

There is nothing that we disliked about Paycom.

Love Paycom

My experience has been overall very positive. I would choose it again.

Pros

Paycom is user friendly and can be customized to handle our very specific policies and procedures. Processing payroll is very easy. The system allows us to delegate many tasks to the employees directly instead of making one person maintaining the data. I also like that it has a cohesive data base and isn't cobbled together using many other "programs" or codes bundled into one main umbrella. The system can handle very complex situations, like shift differential and has a robust time keeping system to allow attendance tracking, as well.

Cons

It took a while to get it set up, but once on it has been really great.

Paycom - Pros and Cons

i would rate paycome with an 9. it's a near perfect tool with the exception of how long the approval hierarchy works, If i was the developer i would put in status bar on top of the list approvers so that i know what's the hold up, who is hodling up my ticket for approval

Pros

Everything is available in paycom from scheduling to adjustments to personnel action form to continuous learning

Cons

the approval stages are very cumbersome, it shows me the name of the approvers but does not show you any real "progress" as to why the ticket is stuck to a specific approver.

It's worth buying

Paycom is easy to use. It has a number of time keeping functions. It's secure and I've never had any issues with it at all.

Pros

It's convenient, I can clock in at work or on my phone at home. I use it to request vacation days,sick days, or unpaid time off. I use it to view my check stubs and W2's during tax time.

Cons

None I have no cons I am a fan of Paycom.

HR Manager

Excellent. Although there are concerns with getting immediate assistance at times I always get my issues resolved.

Pros

Simplicity of doing payroll. It almost does the payroll for you. Just need to verify info.

Cons

Availability of service team sometimes. I have called and no one from my team is available to help me.

My Paycom review

I love our paycom reps! When there is a problem they are quick to help.

Pros

How easy it is to run my reports and to have help whenever I need it.

Cons

Scheduling is my least favorite, but we are learning.

Paycom review

Pros

User friendly. Being able to create usable reports in report writer is a bonus.

Cons

There are some areas that when you update an item, it doesn't flow that change to all necessary areas.
