Decent, gets the job done with not too many bells and whistles
Good, I'd suggest it , if you're working with a limited budget.
Pros
I like the fact that it has a follow-up option. Esign genie is a no frills software that does as it says, the use of the interface requires no extra study or training. Its simple and effective.
Cons
I dislike the user interface, when sending contracts , i.e the last stage of the deal, the interface could be better, i feel, other than that, in terms of features, i have no worries.

Satisfied Purchaser
The general use of the software has been positive amongst our team. The one negative that I've had was any time I've needed to work with your customer support team, it's often that I'm waiting most of the day, or even the next day before I get a response to an e-mail. Fortunately I have not needed to put in many help tickets.
Pros
It was very easy to promote the use of the software within the organization as it's workflow was very similar to existing workflows that we already had in place. Implementation was quick and easy with every user signing themselves up painlessly and working within a few minutes.
Cons
It can be cumbersome if you have 2 clients (Husband and wife) who both need to know about the contract, but we only need 1 signature. We've had a few examples where we've had a contract sit for a few days because the second party didn't know that it was necessary for them to sign before the contract would come back. A group contact, that would send to multiple people, but only require a signature from one of the group could be a way to handle this.

Very enriching experience in this new program that I discovered through the internet.
Pros
Ease of program integration, and very intuitive.
Cons
I've only been using the program for a short time, so as a basic and recent user, I can't find anything I might like less.

Useful, easy to use, and affordable as well.
It is worth trying out and it is cheaper than other competitors. It is a quick purchase and you can use it all the time and don't need to make a subscription. It is nice because you can have it forever and just try out the e-sign process and even if you don't like it for whatever reason, at least you have a PDF program forever. It is 100% worth trying out and purchasing it.
Pros
You can purchase the Foxit software, so thus you can get purchase the e-sign program as well. In comparison that the other software they don't let you make purchases anymore. You can also get a subscription, and it is much more affordable and not as expensive as the competitors. It is worth the purchase.
Cons
The biggest thing is it isn't as user-friendly. I used adobe before and the program is more simplified and the icons are easy to read and very legible. It needs to have more how-to-use and easy access easy to use. It might be the difference in why people prefer using adobe or other programs over Fox-it. It isn't as user-friendly and easy to pick up as other programs are.

Powerful, Compliant, and Easy
Very positive. The decision to go with eSign Genie/Foxit has been a home run!
Pros
My client has a very particular process for delivering, executing and archiving multiple forms, some of which are rather complex. Not only was it easy to recreate these forms and deliver them, but we were able to seamlessly integrate this process into my client's very specific workflow.
Cons
Sometimes the process of creating a form by overlaying form fields on an existing document can be a little tricky, especially if you're aiming for visual perfection. It can be a little touchy. But it can be accomplished with a little patience and effort. In the end, it's a LOT easier than creating secure online forms on a website!

eSign Genie is a Top-Notch E-Signature Program!
eSign Genie has made our tedious process of obtaining required signatures on multiple documents so streamlined and easy. We now have a simplified process and a secure place for all our internal documents. This has been a lifesaver for our company!
Pros
eSign Genie has completely streamlined our documentation process and the way we obtain signatures. It has accelerated our sales process and absolutely improved our production!
Cons

eSign easy and works
It's been good. It's allowed me to add an electronic agreement online or send agreements for signature without breaking the bank.
Pros
- Easy to Use
- Didn't force me into a year contract like Adobe (only slightly more for month-to-month before wanting to make an annual commitment)
- Has Web Form to put agreements online
- You can set the user permission to edit fields, fill & sign, or view only
- They continually update their offering to make it better
Cons
- Users can't redline the agreements, but I was told this is being added (but Users can comment and you do receive an email)
- You can't turn off to not send the user an email when an agreement is void, but the work around is to change the user and the time frame when a message is sent (I expect this feature will be added)

A Great Advance in Productivity and Time Savings
It is now the primary way that I sign up clients and handle settlements.
Pros
The ability to take a document and have it executed in a fast, secure & efficient manner and have it distributed to all the parties is far superior to our traditional approach. It really makes life easier in a very hectic world.
Cons
The thing I like least about the software is the OCR where you have to click each letter or symbol that the software can't read. It can be tedious

For very basic use only
Overall it is an ok software and will do. For the price it is reasonable.
Pros
For extremely basic use this product does quite well! Online chatting went well also, again, as long as you have very basic questions or problems.
Cons
Unfortunately our company needed intermediate usage and found ourselves quite frustrated frequently.
Sending out documents where more than one person, like a married couple, are using the same email address has several glitches. More than 40-50 times, out of sending over 400 documents, the second signature defaulted to the first persons name. So you got a document back with the same name signed twice. And technical support, all the times we contacted them, we're almost completely useless on this issue. Plus you had to describe exactly what went wrong every time you contacted them. It's as if they do not keep any notes. Very frustrating and no resolution. We are looking into a different signing company again.
Response from Foxit Software
Hi Dayna,
Thank you for your review of the application. We will launch an investigation to see why this issue is occurring. You can certainly use a shared common email between husband and wife; however, frequent name changes during data entry may have been difficult in our system due to security and identity management issues. While we do understand it is frustrating not be able to keep changing names of the people, it makes our system safer and legally binding.
We will reach out to you again to train you further to show you how to avoid such issues. We do have a hundreds of companies using this feature and are very happy with the results. If you can spend a little time in showing us the issue you are facing, we will make sure that our team will do everything possible to eliminate any problems.
Again, sincere apologies for any inconvenience. We will launch an investigation. We will appreciate your showing us the problem on an online meeting.

Affordable and Easy-to-Use Document Signature Solution
I was generally satisfied with eSign Genie and would look to use it again in the future when we are ready to conduct our next research study.
Pros
We needed a solution that provided the ability to integrate with other web-based components via webhook. Also, the IDE for creating signature documents and templates was easier-to-use than those of the other tools we evaluated.
Cons
We needed to audit sign-ups for a research study which required that we be able to review document signatures retroactively to confirm that an individual had not already participated. Our service level agreement did not support retention of log information for document signatures any further back than 30 days, which meant we lost the ability to audit individuals who had signed up at the beginning of the study. It would be ideal to have a dedicated storage of audit data and a more full-featured user interface with which to search.

Very inexpensive and simple platform to use
It was very easy to set up the documents with prefilled information, and send the documents to multiple parties for signature. Overall it is a good platform and is offered at a decent price compared to other e-signing platforms.
Pros
It was very easy to set up the documents with prefilled information, and send the documents to multiple parties for signature. Overall it is a good platform and is offered at a decent price compared to other e-signing platforms.
Cons
One thing I would recommend is allowing a customized message to be saved and selected when sending the documents to the party for signature. I entered the same message repetitively when sending documents for signature and it was a bit annoying.

Great way to start your digital signing process
Overall we liked the product, despite it's issues. It got us through the times during COVID when we couldn't have face to face interactions with our customers and made it easy to virtually enroll students. It was easy to learn and use so it didn't add that extra stress of having to figure out a complicated system.
Pros
I liked how easy it was to jump in and start adding fillable fields on to our previously created forms. There wasn't much training needed and I could get the softward to do most of what we needed it to do. I also loved the audit trail so I was able to easily see where our participants were at in their process of completing and signing our applications. I was not the actual user of the software, I was the creator so I can't speak personally about the use of it. Based on feedback there were only minor issues with the software.
Cons
We updated forms with new or udpated fields pretty often but Foxit did not allow for pages to be replaced with the update versions. Because of this whenver we made changes I had to re-do all of the fillable fields for the entire application which was very time consuming and tedious. It also would have been great if the software could read the uploaded documents and add fillable fields based on what it sees so we didn't have to add fillable fields for everything every time (Adobe has this feature and it's great!)

Great Features Come With Billing Caveats
The software gets the job done and there are resources to help understand how to use the various features, but customer service and billing are frustrating.
Pros
The software is user friendly and allows for uploading templates for ongoing use. Uploading contracts is easy and there are many options for customizing the fields including whether or not they should be mandatory, dependent on other fields and to which signer they should be assigned. Additionally, the automatic reminders are helpful though I do wish there was a bit more flexibility there.
Cons
If there are forms that have blocks for numbers (such as social security numbers on W4 forms or taxpayer ID numbers on government forms) the system automatically assigns one text field for the entire row of blocks and if spaces are used to get the numbers to appear inside the blocks on screen they will not appear that when when printed.
Billing is a significant con. On the Billing screen the Plan Details shows the allowed number of "documents" per cycle and the current number of "envelopes used". On the Home page the number of "Completed Documents" is shown in the upper right corner. There is no logical or direct correlation between any of these numbers. It was explained to me that a "document" is a single pdf, and "envelope" is any shared set of documents and a "completed document" is one that has been "executed". It is very confusing and makes if very difficult to actually track how many of the allowed documents have been used.
Additionally, when we had to renew six months after paying for an annual subscription because we had exceeded our allowance the counter did not reset and now we are being told that we need to renew again. It's been only 14 months since we originally got the software and this will be the third time we paid for an "annual" subscription.
My complaint about the counter not resetting is under investigation via a Support Ticket and it's been six days since they said they would look into it and I haven't heard anything.

Great Product at a Great Cost!
My overall experience with Foxit eSign is positive. I will be renewing our contract and look forward to learning more uses for the software.
Pros
I like pretty much everything about the software. I being able to create documents in our brand with ease. I am still learning the product and becoming more proficient as I use it more and more. The customer is exceptional which is important when I am on a deadline and can't figure out how to do something.
Cons
Merges were a new learning curve. I wish that I could use my csv files that already been created instead of downloading the spreadsheet and then uploading the spreadsheet. It creates alot of copying and pasting, but it is still better than printing and manually signing 150 contracts at a time. :)

Foxit is my favorite eSigning tool
In general, I am happy with the program. Beautifully designed. Easy to understand for people of all ages. Safe. Convenient.Depend on the period of my business, I will use it more or less, therefore the choice of whether sticking with an annual subscription or coming back to the eSignature function of Foxit Reader. Highly recommended.
Pros
Started with the integrated in Foxit reader program, the eSignature function was my favorite reason for choosing Foxit instead of other pdf readers and editor. Now fully developped into a pro software on both computer and phone, foxit eSign works much more easily (only drag and drop) and securely (with added authentification). Convenient and safe, what can I ask more from a signing program?
Cons
Maybe the cost. $99 for personal use might seem too much for customers like me (i.e., I am usually the one who get proposed a contract, and rarely the seller. But this is totally personal. The price is not high at all for commercial users who provide multiple valuable contracts per year.

Electronically Signing Documents for Small Business Made Easy!
The overall experience has been positive and I just wished that I would have heard from my rep about the ownership change.
Pros
I am so grateful for this software. As a small, independent business owner, I had to move forward to the digital age and learn how to process documents electronically. ESign Genie has made it so simple and intuitive for me to do that.
Cons
It would be nice to integrate Google Docs with the software and be able to pull from there. Setting up the template has been a challenge with the boxes but I am getting better with it.

Brillaint software. Effective. Easy to Use. Perfect for my business.
Very positive. We have used it for over 2 years and is perfect for what we need it for. Great deal.
Pros
I am not a super techy person. But this software has been very easy to use and get a grasp of. I know use it all the time and feel very comfortable making contract modifications should clients want a slight adjustment. This software makes it easy. Even for me!
Cons
Not a biggie.... but the notice page when you are about to send out the agreement for signatures is a bit unappealing. I often have to take a second look at that page to make sure its wording is correct. It would be nice if it simply showed you a copy of the email that is going out.
