GoReact is the premier tool for reactions on the go.
The use and implementation of GoReact at my institution truly filled a gap in several courses and departments. GoReact is being used in World Language, Communication, Public Speaking, and Teacher Education, among others. Since I am an instructional designer in my institution and the point contact for GoReact, I have been able to work directly with faculty about how to best integrate GoReact into their classes and how GoReact can help them meet the needs of their courses. In addition, it is very rewarding to see how GoReact actively helps students reach their student learning outcomes, and how their course engagement increases. Furthermore, GoReact's flexibility allows for student participation in face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online courses. And speaking of GoReact's reliability and robust support for scalability, an added benefit is its compatibility within any LMS integration.
Pros
Some of the great features of GoReact include ease of use on both integration and application. GoReact is also flexible and multi-platform, which allows for faculty and students to access the assignments on any machine. Because GoReact was designed specifically for providing reactions/feedback, the interface is very effective at allowing for these from students and the faculty. In addition, GoReact provides multiple formats of feedback such as text, audio, and video. Furthermore, GoReact allows for private and public assignments, as well as multi-camera assignments, making it a fantastic tool for promoting a variety of assignment use.
Cons
It is hard to think that a tool could be so good that it's hard to think of challenges or features that are lacking. Thus far, the only challenges of the tool are more based on the user end than on the tool itself. GoReact has done a great job at staying on top of feature implementation, as well as a software upgrade. When it comes to integration into the LMS, GoReact has also made strides to make sure that it is smooth and fully integrated. Perhaps if anything, integration of other tools, such as maybe polling, would be great.

GoReact is the premier tool for skill performance and assessment.
Pros
GoReact is a tool that was created specifically to assess performance through peer review. It works flawlessly, is reliable, and stable, and uses technology to upload and display multiple video formats making the user interface easy and dynamic. Multiple assignment settings allow for private and group evaluation and reflection. Its LTI integration makes implementation a breeze and a great plus for our faculty.
Cons
Perhaps the only area still in development for future versions is a more robust mobile device implementation.

Useful
Customer service is the best. Otherwise, it has some issues that I wish they’d address.
Pros
The ability to have students work on video performances and for students to self/peer assess.
Cons
Too difficult to set up a new class. Have complained about this and still not fixed. Can copy/import but have to change dates in such a rudimentary and time consuming way that it’s easier (not easy) to set up a completely new class.
Also using a template for an assignment is new but doesn’t work. If you use the template for a new assignment, it changes the template.

GoReact Reinforces Active Learning
Overall, GoReact has been the tool to use to allow for critical feedback for recorded assignments. Students are able to see exactly where in their presentation they need improvement and professors can give feedback any where, any time and have that specific critical feedback directly to each student.
Pros
It is easy to use and a very short learning curve for others to use it. Students are able to receive critical feedback regarding video recorded assignments which helps them to be proactive in their own learning Students are able to apply aspects of one assignments to other assignments which cause development in authentic learning.
Cons
I really wish there was a trial period available that could be switched to a full semester of access for those students who are waiting (for whatever reason) for their access code to arrive/distributed.

GoReact Changed the Way I Teach
I have made significant changes to all of my courses to allow students opportunities to demonstrate their understanding in multiple ways. Having the option of visually showing their knowledge with objects and diagrams in video format has changed my courses in really positive ways.
Pros
GoReact is easy to use on any platform and so I am not having to play tech support for my students. I like the flexibility to have students see and comment on each other's videos or just me as the instructor. I can also have students comment on their own videos as a self-reflection assignment. Although I do not always use them, I like the scoring tools that make it easier to give feedback in rubrics and with tags.
Cons
It is a minor thing, but I wish that the process of looking at and assigning a grade to each video was a little smoother.

GoReact for ASL at the University of Richmond
Overall, it's been a productive experience. GoReact is still the preeminent teaching and learning resource for ASL.
Pros
I most like the collaborative video compilation capabilities, along with the video feedback and tagging tools.
Cons
The cost and process of deployment. There should be a mechanism for instructors to procure a course license without having to go through an email exchange with the BYU bookstore. Empowering users to purchase and deploy the technology automatically would be a tremendous improvement.
Reasons for Choosing GoReact
We switched, because FlipGrid did not facilitate second-by-second video commenting and tagging for detailed feedback in the linguistic medium of ASL.Switched From

Easy!
Pros
It's easy to set up, add another user's name & save. When it's time to meet, it's very easy to click "record" and meet & greet! Also, it's nice to have backup recording if the screen keeps freezing or weaker life-- we could meet on Zoom (& record there), and then I can upload the Zoom recording on GoReact and we can review by looking at the saved video at anytime! (It's very easy for me to grade after recording :))
Cons
Occasionally the screen keeps freezing although every time after recorded & finished meeting another user, the video looked smooth. It puzzles me many times my team and I tried to work on. But for now I use different browser Chrome and the Edge every few turns, and cleaned up data, etc. Just this one negative comment.

GoReact is easy to use for our students!
Pros
The mobile app that allows our teacher candidates to record directly from their phone to a GoReact assignment is a strong component of this software.
Cons
Because I administer our college use, I crave a more indepth, hands-on interface for the administrative side of GoReact.

Improving American Sign Language Skills
GoReact solved our issues in providing online students with meaningful video feedback and reinforced feedback for our on campus students.
Pros
We use GoReact in our online and on campus courses. Our institution uses Canvas as the learning management system. The integration of GoReact with Canvas was seamless. It is very easy to set up assignments using this tool. Our primary use is to improve students American Sign Language skills. Students submit an assignment video to their GoReact account and the instructors provide video feedback at various points in their videos that help students improve. It's as good as being live in the classroom, in some ways better, since students can go back to re-watch instructor feedback as much as they need.
Cons
Building rubrics in GoReact is one aspect our instructors say are not as intuitive as they would like. At times, students have said the same thing about document attachments with their videos.

Great for Interactive Assessments
It's been life-changing when it comes to assessing sign language videos.
Pros
GoReact is a great way to assess Sign Language learning. The professor can make comments in either voice, text, or video. The students are able to see the professors feedback at exactly the relevant point, rather than reading it all at the end.
Cons
Had a little trouble integrating the software with Blackboard LMS in a seamless manner.

Easy to use the product!
My experience using GoReact was very positive!
Pros
The product is GREAT to use for teachers and students on a daily basis! I like how easy for me to use the product for my students to use it for their sign language assignments/projects. I also like the fact that I can leave my feedbacks for each students in either video or text. My students find it easy to use and they do not have to use other things to record their work. It was very easy and quick for me to create rubrics in GoReact. Thanks!
Cons
Perhaps in the recording part (from the teacher) where we can have an option on using the background if a teacher does not have a 'backdrop'? It would give us an opportunity to use it in case we need it.

Using GoReact for my asynchronous classes is a BIG plus.
My ASL faculty and I have been using GoReact before the pandemic and are so pleased with the GoReact features. I find it user-friendly, but we have had students who had to purchase GoReact at the bookstore which took days for the students to get the codes. I have suggested that they purchase them online, but some of them use financial aid which has to be purchased through the bookstore. So, it is the bookstore issue.
Pros
With my asynchronously-taught ASL classes, using GoReact has been an excellent tool for ASL faculty to evaluate the students' signing skills. This software offers many features with specifics such as giving written or signed comments back to the students. A big plus is that GoReact is being embedded into my Canvas with the sign-up and it is so easy for the students to access their GoReact assignments. The students are able to review their videos and see what needs to be improved with the instructor's comments.
Cons
I think it would be helpful for the company to offer a few rubric examples made for ASL classes to give the teachers an option to choose one that is suitable for the students with the specifics on what needs to be improved.

It's all about the data...
We have found the support to be second to none; the personal touch is everything in a virtual relationship with a vendor!
Pros
The GoReact development team was willing to work with our institutional analytic support to create an interactive database for us to query.
Cons
Not that I am aware of! We have made suggestions along the way and all were addressed for us.

Using Go React for a college course.
Pros
What I like the most, is that the students are able to submit their performances online in an excellent visual and verbal format. I like that their videos stop at the moment that I begin typing comments about their performances. This provides the students with the exact moment for my comments, when they watch their graded videos. This is really helpful both for me and for the students.
Cons
What I like the least, is the fact that I have to extend the due date after I have graded an assignment in order for students to be able to read my comments on their performances. I would like to be able to have a due date, after which time the students are unable to load an assignment, coupled with an 'available date' that is only a 'Read by' date, during which time the students would be able only to read my comments about their assignments. Thank you for working on this.

Great for Assessing and Tracking Skill Building
GoReact is used in my field as a way for students to learn to recognize the core principles of coaching a person in action. They can see their own and others' progress and learn to recognize and internalize what it takes to improve their questions and their processes. For program administrators, it's a great gauge for ensuring the program is meeting the educational needs of students, and a way to course-correct for items that are not advancing as desired. Also for administrators, it's a great measure of the future success of graduations who will be moving into the field, and a way to ensure quality graduates are being prepared to represent the field well.
Pros
GoReact is fairly easy to navigate and use. For coach training, it allows mentors and program management to hear and see the growth in students as they practice and build their skills and demonstrate their understanding of the course goals and the skillsets required for success. It allows for quicker intervention to ensure instruction is working, students are capturing the concepts, and for providing spot corrections as necessary. It's also great for ensuring the quality of the overall program.
Cons
Overall, this software works very well. A few data entry points are a little clunky and not as intuitive, but once you've used it and adapted to it, it's a non-issue.

GoReact Is Great!
I am using GoReact to record lab sessions in an Introduction to Counseling class. Students benefit from seeing themselves on video as they learn and practice attending skills. I am able to give meaningful feedback to them, and the process of commenting and marking videos is simple. This product is a significant improvement from old-fashioned video recordings (that couldn't be commented on) or in-person feedback (which didn't allow students to view their own sessions).
Pros
I use GoReact for recording student lab sessions in an undergraduate counseling class. The set-up is easy and the software works seamlessly with several different kinds of technology that the students use for their recordings. The ability to make comments on recordings allows me to provide impactful feedback on assignments.
Cons
I do not have any complaints about this software. I recommend it to colleagues!

Rubrics
I want to give you the feedback for the LTI Tool. I need ONE account for my LTI tool because I teach several universities/colleges for semesters and semesters. So that I can use the same rubric from my account but I cannot do that. I had to create new rubric for that university's LTI Tool.
I know that using www.goreact.com is easier for me to create several rubrics and courses in one account, but the LTI tool doesn't work. I want to give you the feedback that LTI TOOL account and www.goreact.com account should be merged. For example, my account is in www.goreact.com and I create several courses. Once it's done, then that specific course's code should be merged with a specific university's canvas & LTI tool. That's my two cents.
Pros
I love the rubrics and LTI tool in the canvas. It is easier way to submit the grades.
Cons
The cons is that my feedback in GoReact's comment box never have been notified to students. I had to announce to the students that they have to revisit their GoReact assignment to open inside the tool and view at my comments & rubrics.

I know there are a lot of more features within the app that I have not used, but they are difficult to learn alone. If I had a training to learn how to use the WHOLE platform, I would definitely take advantage of it.
Pros
The fact students videos will stop at the moment that I begin typing comments or make videos about their assignments allowing students to review my comments at the exact moment. The label section too, it helps to identify and organize their assignments better.
Cons
The platform only accepts PDF documents. I wish they could accept any type of file in a manner that I can just simply drag them from my desktop to the platform.

John Adams review of Goreact.
The software allows students to enroll in course while not living on campus.
Pros
The Goreact software is easy to use. I like how it allows students to begin there educational journey.
Cons
Technical support is lacking. Each term I have a couple of students who have trouble uploading their videos. Those students have reported that the tech support was not helpful. What is missing is the inability to hold a conference call. Having this feature would allow the students to contact me with out the need to down load other software. Emails go only so far.

Useful
My overall experience with GoReact is always positive. Customer services are accessible and helpful.
Pros
The product is super easy to use. I love that I can provide video feedback to a specific segment. Also, I love the test feature. It is USEFUL for the fully online classes.
Cons
Students HAD to go back to GoReact to review the feedback. I wish they could view them through their learning management system. The second thing is it is too expensive for my students.

GoReact is a must
I know this company is growing and that is great. At the same time, they do an amazing job with communication with customers. I feel like a recognized customer instead of an "account". Response time is incredible.
Pros
GoReact has provided a tool that has a tremendous impact on how to improve the work of our students. Whether they are in an American Sign Language class or an interpreting class, they can get feedback and conduct self-assessment in a way that greatly improves learning. The ability to insert written, spoken or signed input or comments has made for a much richer learning experience.
Cons
The library is a bit of a challenge. A new library system was developed and it is not clear what the advantage is of the new library. Most of my material is still stored in the previous library. I need to get support on this - I do know if I just ask, I will get immediate assistance.

Great Software to help Presenters Excel
This let's my students grow and improve in a remarkable way. I've used it now at three different institutions.
Pros
I've used this for years and have seen the software's growth. It is the fastest way to give rich feedback to students on their work. I've only sparingly used it for student to student feedback, but know it has great potential there too.
Cons

GoReact for Performances in Higher Ed
Pros
The software reduces disruption by allowing speeches/performances to be viewed and commented on anywhere at any time. Students on quarantine? No problem! Broadcast the speech/performance live and everyone can participate even if they are not physically in the room!
Cons
The inability to convert a grading rubric to a different score. Ie- the rubric adds up to 75 points total but the assignment is actually worth 150 pts. And the visual aide is kinda clunky! Would be nice to overlay the visual aide.

Pros

Cons
