Not the worst but definitely not the best.
It's not the worst EMR I've ever used, but there are so many things I would change about it if I had a magic wand.
Pros
It is generally very easy to use. It doesn't have a complicated interface, so you can find pretty much anything you need on the left hand tool bar.
Cons
It can be very buggy. There are lots of random errors that generally require intervention from the support team. We are also not crazy about some of the billing operations.

CureMD - Slow but Steady Software
Pretty easy interface to use and learn, does help with the billing and organizing documents.
Pros
It is pretty user-friendly and like that it’s available on mobile as well. It generally makes the job a bit easier and good customer support.
Cons
The software can be a bit buggy and slow at times making it frustrating to use when work hours are busy/fast-paced.

I use CureMD as a patient with my physician to receive medical information. I haven’t had any true issues with the system.

Horrible
I Strongly recommend against this company. If you do proceed you need a lawyer to review your contract. They will promise you the world during the sell but leave everything out of the contract. They are still holding my data hostage. Make it clear in the contract you have right to all data and can have it migrated at no charge.
Pros
Nothing good about this company. Had to drop them after the first year. That was 3 years ago. We are still trying to get our data from them.
Cons
The system was painfully slow and almost impossible to document well even with the templates.
Customer service was awful.
The final straw was a salesperson calling me up frantically telling me there’s no way I can meet meaningful use unless I pay them thousands of dollars to step in and assist me. I informed them my malpractice offers a free service and I refused to pay. Despite this, I’d get harassed weekly to sign a credit card release so they can bill me. Come to find out, I was fine all along and met meaningful use without paying them thousands.

In general working with this software is stress free!
In general I am happy with the software--it truly could not be easier to use.
Pros
I like the simplicity if the software. Everything about CureMD is very easy to navigate. Another plus is that I can view some elements of the software via an app--which is super helpful when I am on the go.
Cons
I do not like that it only seems to function with Internet Explorer. Periodically there are glitches in the system which prevent me from completing a task.

Affordable. I do like the new contact we have with them. He is much more attentive to our needs than the previous contact.
Cons
Not very user friendly. Does not operate on any browser except Internet Explorer. Slow to respond to command. No split screen capabilities. Poor reporting system that is not suited to our needs. Time consuming to verify patient information. Time consuming to enter new patients in the system. Eligibility checks are often incorrect. limited on it'#39;s usability on Ipads. No Kiosk capabilities. We are a mental health clinic which is not their strong suit.

Adequate for generic purposes
It is simple to use, but too simple and I felt the customization is where I ran into most of my problems.
Pros
The patient portal and running reports are the highlights and the rest is lack-luster and dated. If your in the market for the leading up-to-date software keep looking.
Cons
The customer service is lacking (that is the nicest way to put it). I am a younger doc with average tech-saviness, and this software just doesn't flow well. and Has a number of glitches. When you run into these glitches you WILL be left hanging because it takes forever to communicate with a competent rep.

Horrible system and service!!!. Cannot even resolve any issue we come across. What a waste of time/money !!!!
Reps have no clue about anything. They will close the tickets even before resolving problems. Using paper charts would be more time saving and safe!!!!! Can't wait to switch to another system. This system is way below standards!!!!!

Unsatisfactory Business Practice

Our contract with CureMD expired at the end of October 2013. During this time we purchased a new electronic medical record system that would make office life so much easier. Unfortunately, Cure MD was not compatible with our new system. We were told that in November we would be able to do a data conversion to our new system. On November 1st, however, our use of the system was cut off even though we were paid up until the end of November. After a 3-day runaround, we were eventually told that they would not allow this conversion to happen unless we paid an large additional fee. The only bright side was the customer service rep we were working with. He was personable and friendly. You could tell that he was not happy with our outcome.

EMR
The system is simple enough but it does have it's flaws as does any system. The price is competitive with other billing options out there.
Pros
easy to use, reasonably priced.
Cons
Feels like for the last 2yrs or so Curemd's main focus has been their EHR and not their billing program. The billing side could use some work and updates for instance i don't need to know a patient's sexual orientation to bill for an office visit. We do not use the EMR so it is a waste of time to have to fill in or skip these items.

Much better than my previous EHR
Pros
The integrated system has saved me a lot of time. Everything is simple, defined, and convenient. Previously, I was using Athena for their EHR and a smaller vendor for Practice Management. There was always a hassle of compatibility and data being duplicated.
Cons
Its access is limited to Windows. I'd love to see my EHR on my Mac. Their iPad app, Avalon, isn't fully functional at the moment; however, that is improving, and I've been assured that full functionality will come in pretty soon. Apart from that, it's perfect.

Experience with CureMD
My experience with CureMD has been pretty good I really like certain aspects of their service. The customer support is truly amazing, I never have to wait too long on the phone and they get started on the issue almost immediately. The thing I like most is once they fix a problem, it never comes back.
I see my friends who are coders thoroughly studying ICD-10 and it relieves me that I have such reliable software where I don't need to do any studying at all on the changes because I know my software will be updated in time.

Best I've come across, and Oh I've come across many!
It's been four years since I am using CureMD's specialty ehr for my practice, I can proudly say that I am a loyal and happy customer. Never have I experienced any major issue for which the company didn't offer prompt support. The best part is that it's customized to suit my specialty which is oncology. It's easy to use and saves my practice a lot of time. I highly recommend it to my colleagues.

Good features, low cost, and customizable
Pros
The software didn't cost us a lot. It does what we ask it to do, and we don't have to call someone over for updates; they're automatic.
Cons
A support issue took about three days once. I get that it was complex, and other vendors take as much time, but three days was very long for my practice.
