WordPress for the win on my website
Overall, I've had a good experience using WP. One of the main reasons I selected to use WP to build my website is due to their ADA plugins. I previously used GoDaddy for my website but could not get what I needed there so moved over to WP. The learning curve is a bit more than what I would like, however, partnering with someone who knows their way around has shortened it quite a bit. I am super pleased with how my website came out and am confident it will support my needs long term. I also like knowing I can renew my subscription for multiple years and not have to worry about it every year. As a small business owner, I enjoy tools that make my life easier.
Pros
WordPress sparked my interest based on the robust level of features and mult-year subscription options.
Cons
I found the learning curve a bit challenging so much so that I did hire a WP specialist to help me build my website.

I switched from GoDaddy because GoDaddy did not have the ADA plugin that I needed for my website. It was also a bit limited with how creative I could get with my website. WordPress has given me everything I need at this point in my business.Switched From

I chose WP over Wix based on popular consumer demand. After doing a lot of research, WB kept ahead of Wix in many areas, so it was a no-brainer for me.

Arguably the best CMS in the world... was in 2010s.
I started with WordPress and if you want to dabble in blogging on your hosting or WP platform is a great solution. Entry level landing page is mind blowing! Visual editor, ability to assemble the site like lego. All of this for pennies.
Don't dare write serious solutions on it beyond MVP or blogging.
Pros
Arguably the best CMS in the world... was in 2010s.
Today still found on the market, there are entire companies that specialise in the rapid development of simple WordPress-based solutions. However, it looks more like stagnation to me. You can take it as a POC (proof of concept) for your business ideas if you don't want to take a SaaS solution. But as soon as your idea is viable, start full-fledged development immediately.
Cons
Outdated, ancient core, functional programming, live bait for all kinds of hacking. Working with database via strange ORM, absolutely structureless database structure. Almost pointless without 150 plugins, whose code can be the cause of site hacking.

Great for blogging and experts
I've been happy with WordPress as a blog platform, but the use of plug-ins and need of technical knowledge doesn't make it very beginner friendly.
Pros
I have used WordPress mainly for creating a blog and a website, and it serves well in that. The free version got so many limitations, and as i wanted to have my own domain name, i chose the smallest possible package as service. There's enough of storage for my need, and the site has been available constantly, no loading issues. Service is very flexible, and you can create almost any kind of website using WordPress.
Cons
My biggest con is the need of technical skills. In case you want to get something fancy or specific thing on your site, you need to find a proper plug-in. And there are all too many of them! And i have started my first website at the time it was all built up from a scratch, by writing code! And I still find it too difficult to find all the details, and create exactly I want.

Quick start, very flexible but time consuming
Relatively simple to start but the more I uncovered, the more I needed to learn. Quick to get things off the ground but money needs to be spent on builders like Elementor rather than the native builder imo.
Pros
Flexibility, adaptability and sheer amount of choice. After a reasonably small learning curve, everything becomes quite clear on how wordpress and all the myriad plugins work together. The theme options are also great.
Cons
I found resolving issues can be very time consuming. Also even with what i felt was enough security, I somehow got hacked and eventually the website got consumed with so many fake pages i had to close it down and chose Wix.

Squarespace, especially then, was a little to straight out of the box. WP in comparison was cheaper, gave way more customisability but the tradeoff was the continuous learninf curve.

It changed the ways we work on websites and it's still not dead!
I suggest to use Wordpress to all my clients, given that it's also easy to work on it even when different webdesigners and agencies initiate the work anf then for some reason the business relationship changes. It's also easy for me as a non-dev to edit and manage content, integrate other tools and optimize the website for PPC and SEO campaigns.
Pros
Wordpress is flexible and allows to build websites of any type, from the most simple to the more complex.
Cons
Begin so open and flexibile comes with a lot of complication that build up as the website grows, allowing for slowing down and cybersecurity threats

The best website platform
Brilliant! I use it with Elementor which allows me to create websites with a drag and drop page builder. There’s a plugin for just about everything so it’s a great option if you know you’ll be expanding one day and want to make sure you’ll have the option to integrate new features.
Pros
It’s so versatile. There’s literally nothing you can’t do on the platform with a plugin and some code. It’s definitely the the most popular web platform for a reason.
Cons
It can be a bit overwhelming if you’re not much of a techie person. And you really need to be on it with keeping the site updated .

Wordpress - Best in the digital realm

Pros
I love that it has no limitations. Wordpress gives you the option to add plugins and themes to truely make your website your own and a unique experience.
Cons
Can be tricky to customise at first. There are many tricks you learn by using the software over time. Can be quite daunting at first as of where to start or how to edit minor details.

Great option for Small Businessess With Big Dreams
Overall I like using WordPress and I have tried some if not most of the prepaid pay-as-you-go platforms that do all the backend stuff for you, and as good as they are, they don't compare... WordPress sites are dynamic and open to use for whatever business you have one site: a blog, store, education platform, job board, social community or all of of the above.
Pros
Free to use, open source software, tons of free plugins, and tons of free themes and templates. This software has been around for a long time, so many designers, developers, and freelancers are available to help build, fix, or otherwise help with any part of using this software. There are also videos on YouTube from different producers worldwide so you have options.
Cons
It is a free open-source software so it is also open to and vulnerable to hacking especially if left unattended or with outdated plugins and themes. This type of site is not for someone looking for an "easy" solution because it requires either time or money to keep it updated and to catch any unwanted visitors sooner rather than later.

If you're building websites use WordPress it's a must to help you get started and familiar...
My overall experience with WordPress is pretty good I've been using them for years took me a while to learn how to use a platform as there's a little learning curve but this is the leading standard platform if you're building websites you should start with WordPress as if you master this every other builder will be easy for you to use as most nowadays are drag and drop.
Pros
WordPress is a universal platform They also have many apps and plugins that you can use with the system there's a slight learning curve with WordPress it's more for advanced users but they do have plugins that allow it even newbies to get started so I love this.
Cons
I wish WordPress was a little easier to use for newbies but through their plugins system they have pretty much solved this problem.

If you're not using WordPress, then you should!
Overall WordPress is a 10/10 from us, it has made our website management easy, things can be added or changed across the whole site quickly and without hassle. It really was a game changer for us!
Pros
We have been using WordPress for many years, it makes rolling out and managing a consistently branded website incredibly easy. The great thing is that you can customise your WordPress site as much or as little as you want. From the management of content and media to the installation of plugins or updating WordPress itself, everything works seamlessly. We have been very happy with our experience and would recommend to anyone. Another great plus
Cons
Although fairly straight forward, if you are not comfortable setting up a web application or SQL database or using PHP, installing and setting up WordPress could be tricky. Having said that there are plenty of tutorials available on the web and setup only has to be done once. Then you are free to make things as simple or as complicated as you want with the customisation of templates or the creation of your own.

My favorite tool when building any website
As for me, WordPress.com was a great way to get exposure and display my app projects in a matter of clicks. Working with a friendly interface and with a mobile version was a great convenience. Nevertheless, as I move forward, it is apparent that the customization limits and lack of plugins will lead me to want a self-hosted WordPress for more control and convenience.
Pros
Working as a mobile app developer, I found the mobile-friendly designs available on WordPress.com appealing. I could assure you that I am comfortable whether it is a blog or a portfolio as long as you are able to present it beautifully. Little do they know, even the blogging abilities built into the software are great – helping with writing articles and posting news.
Cons
From a developers point of view, I found the customization options a bit restrictive. There were some missing pieces when it came to micromanaging designing. Beyond this, the basic plan has many limitations on how many plugins and themes can be installed, which was somewhat annoying.

WordPress - easy to build any website
WordPress is a great platform to build a website as is very customizable and easy to use. Because is the most used CMS there are a lot of themes and plugins developed for it and can be used as a simple website/blog or a big eCommerce shop.
Pros
The things I like at WordPress are the plugins and themes. I have added complex functions with some plugins transforming my website into a powerful online platform. The design is another important feature as you can easily build any design with different drag and drop builder or buy an already made theme. Fining a developer to improve the website is very easy as is widely used. On page SEO management for an WordPress based website is easy to made with different witch is a big thing that is worth mentioning.
Cons
I have to be careful with themes and plugins used as it can get slow if not setup correctly.

Wordpress is Great for Websites!
Overall, I've had a great experience with WP. I've built various sites through various plug ins that are available (Elementor, Divi, etc.) and also been able to keep the site secure with the various security plugins that are available. WP makes it possible to set up a personal or business website with a very short learning curve.
Pros
WP makes it super easy to set up a professional website. It's not like back in the "old days" when you needed to learn HTML or pay a ton of money to get website set up for your business.
Cons
From time to time there are security concerns and it's important to do the updates so your site is not vulnerable to hackers.
