A very easy switch to a new system
This has been a much easier transition into a new medical record system than I thought. I'm so glad I made the decision to switch
Pros
The onboarding has been great! Laura is so nice and understanding! Opus as a product has been easy to use and very intuitive
Cons
Nothing so far - it's been great. There were a few bugs at first (which is to be expected) but the team fixed everything very quickly.

The customer service was difficult to use. We had to use a VPN and a server which made service slow when working remotely. MacPractice also didn't allow for OS updates very frequently.Switched From

Inpatient Supervision New Start Up
Overall, my experience with OPUS has been fair.
Pros
I haven't had much experience with OPUS but I do love the amount of time that your team invested in our facility's set up. I feel that OPUS is easy to Navigate.
Cons
What I like least about OPUS is that It doesn't pull data or auto populate in some areas and I also would have liked to have the ability to drag forms or decrease the size of the forms.

Review of Opus
Overall, it has been a positive one. It was a difficult road with times of extreme stress and disappointment; however, I felt that my concerns were always addressed and efforts were made to always find solutions.
Pros
Working with Laura and her desire to go over and beyond to make sure our needs are met. Also Arjun and Smirna with PS are also excellent in their knowledge and work ethic.
Cons
The integration between Opus and PS is difficult to understand at first and the way these work together was not explained well to us when previewing the software.

If your EMR doesn't work like Opus, you need to switch
Software works as intended. We never had any issues that couldn't be addressed almost immediately. I manage a team of doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical staff in 8 states so it's important for me to have accurate and up to the minute information on what's going on. Opus allows me to do that.
Pros
Ease of use, customer service and use on my phone.
Cons
Nothing to report. We've been pretty happy with Opus EMR.

Opus Implementation Review
Pros
The ease of use and straightforward set up for our Medical Department really helped implement a new streamlined process.
Cons
Due to a high caseload of clients a couple of features we would have liked to see were auto-complete on certain medications and moveable pop-up windows.

Opus Review
It's been great so far. [sensitive content hidden] has been very sweet.
Pros
Being able to assign a provider to each patient. Patient profiles are easy to use and navigate.
Cons
I wish there was a way to auto-populate the information that the clients fill out on their intake form to their patient profile. It's a little bit of a hassle to copy and paste from the intake form to the patient profile.

Overall, our experience with OPUS has been great. I would highly recommend OPUS.
Pros
I like that OPUS is user friendly. The format is logical and easy to understand. The support we have received from our Project Manager, [sensitive content hidden] has made the implementation process flow smoothly.
Cons
The scheduling system does not fully meet our needs and has been more difficult to use. Specifically, we have encountered difficulties printing client schedules and distinguishing between new intakes and existing clients. We have been informed that updates are coming that may address some of our concerns.

Pros
Initially is was a challenge getting started and once what we needed for implemented it is easy to use because it a Mental Health EHR and not a Medical EHR.

Opus is the very best in EMR for treatment centers
I was part of the original implementation of Opus. From the beginning, their staff laid out the plan and executed as planned, always keeping us up to date on what they were working on. Because we wanted a very customized system, they assigned a customer success manager to our account, and I had a direct contact I could call any time. Every once in a while I still get calls from him asking if everything is going well. A truly well run operation.
Pros
I get everything I need at the click of a mouse or on my phone. Opus is user friendly and let's me keep tabs on what my staff is doing 24/7. I couldn't imagine using the EMR we had before.
Cons
No cons to report. Everything has been working great and their support phone and email are always there to address issues when they arise.

OPUS Review
The OPUS EMR system has provided a chart management system that is not only user friendly and easily accessible it
Pros
The OPUS EMR system is easy accessibility and user friendly, the ability to cross reference clinical, case management, medical and demographic information within the client file is a true benefit for clinical collaboration. OPUS provides an internal assessment called OMT. This feature allows for accurate assessing risk factors throughout duration of treatment. The quality of the clinical documentation is evidenced based. As a manager, the system provides the ability to easily review, assess, and process documents as needed.
Cons
It would be beneficial if documents could repopulate intake information throughout file.

Document with Ease and Efficiency
I would recommend OPUS to any healthcare provider, small or large. It has incredible capability and functionality. I have worked at numerous treatment centers, none of which carry the sophistication and ease I see in OPUS.
Pros
OPUS makes charting simple and easy. As it relates to my position, we document all of our clients meal and caloric intake. OPUS created an individualized platform specific to meet the needs of the clients, which was completed quickly and to incredible precision! Charting is made convenient and easy to understand. Their dedicated support team is always available to answer questions and assist if needed!
Cons
None at this time, working with OPUS is simple and easy!
