Reliable, cost-effective rota planning tool

User friendly rostering

Findmyshift is a great platform to work with, really quick loading times and lots of display options make it very user friendly.

Pros

Very user friendly, lots of options regarding how to lay out a roster (colours, areas, etc), good notification settings. Options for available shifts and staff ability to enter notes/leave/comments on different days.

Cons

N/A, it is the best rostering system I have used.

Poor review of Findmyshift

Very poor in operability, being user-friendly, and extracting data. The mobile app is very unhelpful.

Not much, the system is almost used for us as

Cons

The system does not suit the busy shift working roster such as ED. There is no visibility of staff numbers, modification of requests is very hard, and generating a roster on this is almost impossible. We just use it as a demo for our roster that is made by Excel.

Great shif-planning software for Gastro with considerable ease-of-use

Versatile, easy to use, mostly intuitive. We have good associations with FMS and will continue to use it. customer support is excellent, and the reaction time via whatsapp unbeatable. Pls continue with that

..having said that, there are some things that drive me crazy, because i dont understand them: we almost only use the "facility" view for managing our book. Unfortunately, when we (or anyone) switches over to the "staff view", the book is mostly a complete mess. it must be that different people request different things (they request the "comment" with the location, instead of the shift time), or when we manually input someone, we input their shift as a comment, so it doesnt translate correctly from the VIEW (!) in facility view to what you would expect to show up in the staff view. Therefore, we've given up to use the staff view, and tell our staff to not use it in order to not get confused. I dont know if there's an easy solution to this, so that we could use both again, but we clearly havent found it.

Lucky punch, I honestly don't really remember. I sometimes wonder if other softwares were integrating other aspects more (e.g. vault for keeping employee documents, digital work contracts etc.) - but not sure we actually need this. You don't really know what you need until you find something that makes life so much easier, I guess....

Convenient

Great easy to use and navigate through. Staff have instant access to shifts at all times

If I have to nitpick on something, I guess it is that the mobile interface isn't so easy to use when making a schedule but it does work.

Great App Easy to Use

Very positive, Ive used it for more then two years and have had no issues with it

Pros

Its easy to use for both staff and management

Cons

When you are manually adding hours/ breaks to the timesheets it doesnt calculate them properly if you dont put the breaks underneath the worked hours

Pros

we found it very easy to use and works very well for us as a business. It helps us track holiday and who is in very well.

Cons

The only issue is you cannot do partial sick days ie if someone comes in and leaves halfway through the day.

Payroll is now a breeze!

Really straight forward and easy. All our employees can easily use the app

Pros

Has completely simplified our employee time keeping and makes doing payroll at the end of the month incredibly simple

Cons

It is slightly on the pricey side for small business of around 6 -10 employees. We dont need the scheduling and a lot of the other features but we do need the ability to track clocking in and out of 6/7 employees

Salus Medical FMS Review

Been using it for over 10yrs & very comfortable with it, yet still discovering further functionality on a daily basis.

Simple & Clear Visuals, simple functionality

Cons

N/A - Nothing negative to say, other than in our case specifically perhaps, ease & depth of integration with Xero, there are other packages perhaps further developed in that regard.

Ideal product for managing a schedule for a small business

Works well and all the employees find it easy to use

Pros

I like the interface, it's ideal for what we need.

Cons

We would like activity logs and to be able to schedule further into the future, but it's very expensive for a small team.

We use both, but the Findmyshift is much better for the schedule side of things, TimeKeeper is much better for clocking in and out as it allows us to have a tablet on the wall as a Kiosk to save people from using the app and it also means they have to be on site to clock in or out.

Easy to learn and operate

Staff roster software made simple.

Find My Shift is a great rostering software. The app works well, and the website is user-friendly. We use it to manage our company’s staff roster, and it’s been very efficient and easy to use.

One feature that would be really helpful is a version history for every roster, showing who edited it and how many times it’s been updated. Other than that, everything is already in place and working smoothly.

Great, simple, intuitive product.

Very user friendly for the staff who use the app. Transition from a paperbased system to an electronic system was very easy. The reports function is useful and being able to export everything to a CSV is very useful for management.

Pros

Being able to import data such as staff details. Customisation of staff fields. Flexible and customisable security options.

Cons

Holiday hours not included in weekly/daily totals. Overlap of time off with shifts can cause problems. Needs a custom rate for Holiday hours rather than picking up the rate from the Rate Exceptions list.

A great Staff Rota System App for small businesses

Instant Staff Scheduling for all in a single platform

Pros

Everyone can access his or her rosters in real time. Ability to request changes and apply leaves as well as supervisors to plan staff scheduling.

Cons

The initial setup is a bit confusing when understanding of the rota and timesheets. Work efficiency will be increased once get familiar with the UI and logic.

Rota scheduling & timesheeting is essential to our business the tool is generally easy to use, but has some odd functionality issues that could be improved.

Cons

there is no integration technically to, for example, our payroll. this is therefore a manually intensive process - better calculations for holiday and sick pay rates would be a godsend for the hospitality industry who pay hourly rates and therefore holiday and sick pay has to be manually calculated every month - tedious

Easy App but had prices

Pros

I really like the app. It's simple and provides everything I need to keep the team updated and on schedule for client billing and payments to our associates and service providers. It optimizes the time we have and makes internal communication and control much easier. The only improvement I would suggest is offering more options regarding pricing.
