Ability to customise and automate, and nice display.

Pros

This a one stop app for tasks, goals, mind maps documents the lot. Reminders and events can sync with everyone involved to ensure productivity stays high. Customer service was also pretty good.

Cons

Their A.I feature is at best mediocre with an additional fee per month. There isn't a feature to create invoices and bill inside the app. The proofing option wasn't as robust as I would've liked either.

Pros

Clickup is a great tool for those looking to track projects, tasks and collaborate with other members of the team. My position is a lot of projects that include all types of creative work. Clickup allows me to track the progress of each project and keep writing in the same place. It also allows me to collaborate with other team members and keep track of upcoming tasks/projects.

I also love that I'm able to access other workspaces from the same space. This allows me to use Clickup for personal tasks/projects as well but keep them separate so my coworkers can't see them or access them.

Cons

I wish Clickup had a more substantial, and permanent, nonprofit discount. Our nonprofit is relatively small with limited space in the budget. Clickup's discount for nonprofits is small and only applies to the first year. That is a major barrier for adoption.

Pros

Two things I really like bout ClickUp. The first is their Timesheets. Entering your time is super easy, you can track whether your hours are billable or not, and there's even a way to track your hours with a timer. The second feature is the Whiteboard feature, which isn't available with any of the other products I have tested.

Cons

Unfortunately, I need to upgrade to a paid subscription to continue using the Timesheets feature, which is one of the main reasons for using ClickUp, and I can use a free version of other programs for time tracking.

I actually use TrackingTime for keeping track of my time since I would have to upgrade to continue to use timesheets, and ClickUp for the whitebaord feature.

Pros

Well its a behemoth of an application and can have a lot of integrations in it. Automations and now with AI summaries makes getting tasks done easier.

Cons

Its just too big, when I started using it. I hated it like anything due to its sheer size (obviously a lot of teams in my company so a lot of boards). Getting used to was really difficult. Its super slow. Slow as in you can compare it to a tortoise.

Pros

I find the concept of spaces the most complete for my needs. I use spaces for customers, and I put all the client projects there as folders, but I also use them for large projects.

Cons

The loading speed. I tried on multiple different networks but it has that lazy loading that way in the past, when I started to use the tool it was not there.

Better user experience, more intuitive interface and all the feature we needed to manage our projects at a better price, at least in our opinion.

Pros

I like the UI, it is a modularised platform. It helps product managers to organise sprints and assign tasks to team members to reach milestones. It helps to track progress of the project, goals , milestones, etc. It comes with integration of CI/CD tools like github and gitlab

Cons

It is costlier in comparison to similar products in market. Slightly organisation of tasks, allocation to sprint, filling in the fields relevant to the task is slightly complex

Pros

I love the customizability of the platform. Very versatile and can be used by seemingly any type of organization

Cons

Not super intuitive on the automations and the structure changed making it harder to understand how tasks and subtasks work. Subtasks can get buried if not careful

When I first started using it, I would keep track of each and every task given to me in Clickup. This evolved from only a to-do list, to an agenda and company document and template library. I loved how easy it was to navigate, as a business alternative to Notion (which I was using for personal reasons) with similar features.

Cons

When I tried using Clickup more recently (within the past year), it seemed as though it was overloaded with new features that weren't there 2-3 years ago. It's very confusing for someone who was used to the previous ClickUp with less features (This might be the first time I've ever reviewed something poorly for having too many features).

I wanted to keep my personal workspace within Notion, separate from my work-related tasks and workflows within ClickUp.

Pros

The BEST thing about ClickUp is that it really is shaping up to be the tool that replaces ALL for day to day management. Since its inception, they have continued creating innovative features (vs. just OK) features to make it happen. I also LOVE how simple, clean and organized it is. It's the one tab where myself + the team spends most of the day in for communication, visibility, and management.

Cons

There really isn't anything... right now the only thing I don't LOVE about the tool is the workflow diagrams. But it's still a fairly new feature that will evolve. After using tools like Miro it has a long way to go. There was also a bit of a learning curve when first starting to use the diagrams, it wasn't as intuitive. The saving grace is that we can then convert the diagram into tasks (which is seriously a dream).

It would be nice if it were modeled a little more after Miro, and we had the ability to brand the colors vs. the preset colors which are very traditional RGB.

A lot of other tools stopped showing a product roadmap for growth and started stagnating... ClickUp started leading the charge, putting out game changing features, allowing me to customize to my needs, and continued to show it was on the path of innovation and really be the one tool that replaces all. It just looked + felt like something I was easily going to be able to integrate within my day to day, whereas other tools felt like it was a chore to have it work for me.

On the other hand, it also means that there are at times too many features that cause some general issue, especially when dealing with large data and multiple integrations.

I think there's an overwhelm of features and functionalities so sometimes I feel like I lost the whole benefit of managing tasks because it's all just time-consuming and over-complicated. I've been using it for a while and sometimes I still can't find what I'm looking for.. it doesn't feel intuitive.

ClickUp helped us to get all our project resources consolidated in one place making it easy to organize our projects. It provide amazing dashboards and visualizing tools that allows us to monitor the progress of our projects easily. It has great information sharing and chatting functions that help us to work smoothly together when collaborating on projects. ClickUp allows unlimited customization which enabled us to have it setup in accordance with our needs. The automations in ClickUp made it easy for us to setup our projects and attend to the repetitive tasks.

There has never been anything wrong with ClickUp since the day we started using it. There lacks anything to dislike about it.

I loved ClickUp for its ease of use in creating to-do lists and setting timelines for them. ClickUp supports our organizational capabilities and brings members together on a single workflow chart, which unifies goals and increases focus on completing tasks on time. I loved the ease of making updates and sending alerts or inquiries to other colleagues directly from the same page. I loved that all details and inputs are documented with ClickUp, so that the project page becomes a reference for everyone to implement accurate follow-up and push pending activities. The dashboards are amazing, as they can be configured according to the project’s needs, and I loved that they are automatically updated according to the latest updates, which makes them ready to view at any time.

Cons

With the multiple versions and updates, the negatives have almost disappeared, and working with the rest of the team using ClickUp has become more efficient and enjoyable as well.

I loved ClickUp's ability to simplify the collection of team tasks and consolidate them into one schedule. I loved the ease of reversing member updates and finding expected closing dates. ClickUp's organizational features are great, ensuring that attachments exchanged between members are transferred to the project file.
