It allows flexible team cooperation on daily activities
Organization of a little project. It sits perfectly in the middle of the two extremes: too basic and too complex. When it comes to connecting chores and keeping track of them all in one location, there is no limit to the possibilities. To have all my work documented correctly, it's nice that you can insert comments and embeds, even Genially.
Pros
All of the templates and their adaptability give a clear picture of the possibilities. Fortunately, the Clickup university and other resources, such as videos, make a wealth of learning readily available. This makes it simpler for me to keep track of the many projects on which my team is currently working, allowing me to better allocate resources and time.
Cons
Even if you think you're on a subpage of a document, it might be difficult to tell. It's difficult to see the differences between two templates with the same name.

Clickup Helps me manage my weekly tasks
Our organization could not have automated task management or cross-functional project management without Clickup's assistance. Organization-wide capacity planning has also benefited from this.
Pros
ClickUp has been an invaluable tool in assisting me to manage my time effectively and remain on top of my many responsibilities at work, in school, and in my personal life. You can add tasks without switching windows thanks to a handy Google Chrome widget.
Cons
The controls on the dashboard are finicky and will require some practice. All the teams have problems with this particular area of integration and application. I wish I could sync the calendar with my calendar on Google more easily. It seems that just the distinction between tasks and subtasks is communicated.

Solid all in one product
Overall though, especially as a user I'm very happy with the product and it works the best out of all we have tried, especially also for the other non IT/Development departments that struggled with utilizing other solutions before
Pros
It is a fully fledged all in one solution for Product Development.
We use it from creating and tracking high level goals to individual projects and even our ticket system is here.
Added to that it has a robust set of supporting features like Documents, Graphs, and Video recording (for help videos etc.)
Cons
It can be unreliable, from just beeing very slow in general, to loading issues that keep cropping up where I can't edit Task descriptions because the field is just in a loading loop.
To a lesser degree for a user but for me as an admin:
Upselling, they are constantly trying to upsell you, from AI to courses to the business plus plan (which on their pricing page they don't even list, but they love gating little things behind)
Similiarly they love to tell you how easy it is to add a user in the middle of a month, but remove one and suddenly you have "an open seat" that you should quickly fill since you are already paying for it. Those and other examples just make the practices feel very money grabby and I'm kind of fearing them taking away features just to add into another extra premium fee.

ClickUp Requires Clicking Around
Pros
I like the ease of sharing tasks with team members. Very good to keep track of where everyone is at in a project.
Cons
It's pretty difficult to actually figure out how to use all the different capabilities that ClickUp offers. Sometimes it feels like I'm clicking around in circles because I can't find where I'm trying to go.

Almost helped me get my life together! Almost.......
Overall, I really appreciate ClickUp and I want to be able to utilize it consistently. For myself personally, as someone with ADHD tendencies this software is extremely intriguing, yet at the same time it's too complicated and time consuming to be a helpful day-to-day tool. If I had more time (and attention!) I could see this software being an intrigal piece in how I managed my life - both for work and home. Someday, I could see this happening. But until I have the time to make this happen, I'm off in search of the one true software that might finally help me to get my life organized!
Pros
Click up has SO many features! Even their free version is loaded with different tools to help you organize/plan/create/coordinate etc.. I love all of the options that are available throughout the experience of uing Clickup. Users are able to tailor and personalize almost all default settings/templates at every step along the way. I also appreciate the emphasis on versatility and adaptability of this software. This software is fully functional for user's Work and/or Personal goals/projects/plans etc.. as well as when being utilized as an individual user or within a team of user's who are collaborating..
Cons
The software has so many great features and options but the one downside is accessibility and ease of use for user's. The app on my IOS apple iphone SE was almost unusable (for me!) I am not an expert when it comes to using software but I'm also not a novice. For me the app was very confusing and took so much time/energy to set up that it was not worth even trying.

Loving Clickup!
Pros
Clickup has so many features that I love and find very useful. I’m on one of the paid plans and was surprised by how many features are available for such a low cost.
I was using another project manager before switching to Clickup and the cost of that one was much higher with fewer features. I’m glad I made the switch!
Cons
I do notice some glitches from time to time, but I know they are working on them and have noticed fewer of them recently.

I couldn't live without Clickup
Pros
Ability to customise displays is excellent. Search is quite useful, as is the ability to link tasks and collaborate with people both in and out of your team.
Cons
So many features, I'm sure I'm not utilising even 20% of them. A beast of a software and without knowing what questions to ask, I'm not even sure how to go about making sure I'm getting the most out of it.

Intuitive Productivity Tool
ClickUp was a great addition to our team's tool kit, it's very easy to use out of the box
It's nice to not have to dedicate a couple days to learning a new tool
Pros
All of the team agreed that ClickUp is very easy to use without a learning curve
We also like the GUI
Some of our team has started using it for their personal tasks
Cons

It is a very useful digital tool
It can do a lot. If there is something you want to do with Project Management, Task Management, or people management, ClickUp likely can do that... and do it very well.
Pros
Many digital tools and services are not as usable or useful as physical, paper tools. But ClickUp is a very useful, powerful, and usable tool. Several friends of mine kept telling me about it and how they use it to manage their small businesses. That is how I ended up using it.
Cons
The interface and the set of features is a little overwhelming for me.

Practical alternative for small teams on a limited budget
Pros
- Free hosted version available
- Can organize tasks into different lists
- Good amount of flexibility with custom statuses and lists
- Easy to import existing data from lots of other tools
Cons
- Rigid hierarchy of spaces / projects / lists is unnecessary for smaller projects and potentially limiting for larger ones
- Transitioning tasks between lists isn't as smooth as it could be

JiraReasons for Choosing ClickUp
I didn't like that there wasn't a natural way to filter data down in Trello. I wanted to be able to maintain a backlog separately from tasks I was actively working on to avoid cluttering up the view. However, in Trello, the only options were to use different lists, which can't be hidden, or to use separate boards completely, which was too disjointed for my liking. ClickUp was a better fit for this workflow.JSwitched From
TrelloReasons for Switching to ClickUp
I considered JIRA among other options because it has good functionality for managing a backlog separately from active works in progress. The hosted version is cheap and they do have a self-hosted version that doesn't have a recurring fee, but I was trying to avoid paying a monthly fee and I didn't have a spare machine available for the self-hosted version. ClickUp gave me the functionality I was looking for without having to pay a monthly fee, so it was a better choice for me.- Industry: Nonprofit Organization Management

A real boon for our planning and implementing activities
The real advantage for us has been the ability to keep track of what others are doing as well as individually having these reminders. What we still need to develop is our goal setting and tracking, something we plan to do as we plan for the next year.
Pros
We had been searching for a good planning and tasking software for some time now that can be used online. We have really appreciated being able to break down the tasks on different levels, of projects and lists. It keeps us on task with email reminders and we are able to supplement our communication with one another. We have really appreciated the repeating tasks. The basic setup and use is quite simple and easy to learn, yet there is a real depth of options as activities become more complex.
Cons
There is not much we don't like. Sometimes there are changes with newer versions, and features we had been using are gone or done differently. That is not unique to ClickUp, but it can still be slightly disruptive.

TrelloReasons for Choosing ClickUp
We liked Rukovoditel, but it really required setting up everything from scratch. That allowed us to really have just what we wanted, but as a small team with limited tech skills, it has been really helpful to have a program that has most of what we need built in and functioning in ways that we just don't know how to set up in Rukovoditel.Reasons for Switching to ClickUp
The boards of Trello are an interesting concept, but ClickUp seems to be a more natural way for us for viewing tasks. What is great, though, are the other options to view tasks that are similar to Trello if needed, but we are not bound by that.- Industry: Information Technology & Services

Flexible, Intuitive & Full of Features
Now that I’ve used it for almost a year, I feel very confident in its abilities. It took me a while to understand how to use all of its functionalities but it wasn’t hard, it just took time. Now I can build really useful systems with it, from client portals to even advanced relationship management and client engagement solutions. I’ve set it up so it’s useful to me and my team but the overall feeling is that it drives me to do work rather than to track time or check on tasks or look at reports. It really focusses all members to complete tasks!
Pros
I really like how it allows you to create any structure. Using spaces, folders and lists, I can segment clients in different spaces, organize projects in folders and use lists for project stages. I like how they offer many templates (I recommend every newbie to start from there) with ready functionality like agile project management or even a light CRM. I also like to use their native apps on desktop and mobile because they’re intuitive and easy to get into.
Cons
One must have some experience with productivity tools to get into the useful features. Because the system offers such a high level of flexibility, it demands an organized and streamlined implementation to get the best benefit out of the product. Although extremely easy to configure, one needs to have experience in generating reports to understand how to build the dashboard widgets optimally. A lot of time can be spent on understanding how the system works and at the beginning it feels like nothing is happening.
Reasons for Switching to ClickUp
ClickUp gives me the best value for money over all other products I investigated. I needed a tool that gives me all functionalities for one price, not to be very expensive and to have high level of automation capabilities. ClickUp also has very good control over the entire process i.e. when configured properly, it also guards me from making mistakes by choosing an easier option and causing havoc in the organization.- Industry: Information Technology & Services

Very powerful project management tool for freelancers/small businesses
I've been using ClickUp as a project management tool to help oversee subcontractors and give clients insights into how a project is moving along. There are a ton of cool features to dive into even at the free level. I like the ease of switching between a Kanban-like structure to Gantt or Timeline. And more importantly, I like the hierarchy of organization within a workspace. I can organize by Spaces and within each of them have a folder and within each folder have a project. And I can click on any level of the hierarchy to see any projects and tasks to are included.
Pros
The number of features at the free level are enough to tackle 90%+ of all common project needs for those looking for a powerful and cost-effective tool
Cons
Because Click Up also includes features for documents, mind maps, and analytics, it can feel like a lot to manage and understand. I can see some users finding it to be a confusing platform.
Reasons for Choosing ClickUp
I still use Notion for organizing digital content, but it was not as powerful out-of-the-box as a project manager and harder to control permissions/securitySwitched From

So far, the best project management software (I've used a few)
Overall I'd say I'm very satisfied, productivity has boosted and I can keep things more organized. It's super easy for me to create a task, assign it, decide a timeframe for it (have it appear on my Google Calendar) and have an overview (and email digests) of all the work to be done. I recommend it for anybody from a big project manager, to a single person just organizing day to day choirs.
Pros
As its tagline states "one app to replace them all", ClickUp does a great job at offering features I'd otherwise previously be using 2-3 different apps for. I used to have an app for tasks, another for time tracking, and other methods for sharing media and messaging, I now use ClickUp for all of these things.
I have recommended it on all projects I've worked on, and have yet to meet a team that did not find it valuable enough to make a switch to it.
Cons
It's still relatively new, so there are a couple of things that need 100% fixing here and there, for example, I've found the desktop app a little annoying sometimes when it needs to update and I had to change the shortcut icon on my taskbar (as if the update changed the program .exe file), but as mentioned, it's new so I guess somethings are to be expected.

Feature rich, maybe too rich
Overall it's a really nice tool to work with; In my personal opinion, it is way better than devops and more customizable than JIRA.
And I guess it wasn't only me; the team also felt comfortable enough that we even started using it for retrospectives.
Pros
I liked that every one of us (we were a 10-men dev team featuring 2x QA, SCM, PO and DEVS) was able to create as many customized views and lists and what-not.
Aggregation worked amazing - especially when grouping things together for exports and reporting
Sub tasks - we used that alot for "task-scoping" (basically task breakdown) and on the business plan it also allowed us to assign hour estimates
Cons
Two things over here:
- we were on the Business pricing plan - we could have worked with Unlimited, except that there was this one feature (resource vs. task allocation) that we really needed; it was kind of annoying to have to switch to the next tier just to get this one little thing working
- customizations - ClickUp allows you to pretty much configure EVERYTHING, so it made it a bit hard to set it up properly. I remember that we figured out at some point that we can disable things at list level, but this only got rid of part of the problem.
Reasons for Switching to ClickUp
We had previous experience with them; JIRA was a pretty solid choice, but it's pricing makes it rather expensive; devops - just no :)- Industry: Information Technology & Services

It is by far the best project management tool out there
It's been great, I've used other products in the past and have to say this one's the best
Pros
It's easy to use, I followed some simple tutorials online and setup my whole organization
Its time tracking feature replaces things like Time Doctor, with ease.
I like that I can share boards and projects publicly or keep them private for specific groups of teams
Cons
When you upload documents on a card it is not truly visible. There's the left section with a space for a description and the right section for comments, but none are useful, they should change that whole interface.

ClickUp: A Customizable Easy to Use Workflow Management Tool for Startups
I am extremely happy to use ClickUp more than any other tool. ClickUp provides client apps, and even works great with browsers or through mobile. I am so happy to continue this.
Pros
It is so intuitive, feature-rich and user friendly. I am amazed to see how much the ClickUp team has developed this product. It is unlike any other tool, This is very smart and intelligent.
Cons
There is no specific issue I noticed, but sometimes it may feel like "too much of features" and you are overloaded with so many options. But it is not a huge blocker.

ClickUp Works!
Overall ClickUp is the one-stop shop for all things related to task, time, and project management. Our company doesn't have to go out and get a tool for time management in addition to project management. Nope, everything is all bundled into one large system and it makes it so much easier to become familiar with.
Pros
I love that this tool offers so very many solutions for my company's needs. From employee time tracking to task management to project communication, the platform is terrific! It enables everyone from upper management to entry-level to be held accountable for the overall workflow and success of our clients. ClickUp has so many features that you can get a little lost in the shuffle but it gives the peace of mind that it'll do whatever you need it to so long as you spend a little time in the system setting it up the way you need it.
Cons
It can be a little too easy to get lost if you use a lot of features and boards as our company does. This is why we designated specific individuals to be in charge of the management of that department/ area of service within the ClickUp management system.

The best project manager out there, but not without it's hiccups
This software has helped us streamline our creative process and help keep projects from falling through the cracks. Although the learning curve is steep, once the software becomes intuitive for you, you will not want to use anything else.
Pros
This is by far the best project management software our team has used, by a wide margin. The customization this software offers is fantastic. We are also able to let our clients in on specific projects with ease. Tracking the status, due dates, and flow of a project is very intuitive.
Cons
The initial learning curve of the software is a bit too steep. People who have trouble with technology, will likely have even more trouble learning how to effectively use this software. Also, notifications have been spotty for us for the entire year we have been using this software. It has caused us to miss updates a few times.

Decent – but too complicated
Pretty good. Might try it again but as long as they focus more on marketing and "cool features", I'll stay with Notion.
Pros
Very customizable and good to create CRMs and for project management.
Cons
While it's versatile, it's also slow and feels clunky (stopped using it ~6m ago, so it might have changed).
The functionality is better than for example Asana and Notion in many ways, but I still prefer to use those for the simplicity, and Notion specifically since it's even more versatile (but not as technical).
Reasons for Choosing ClickUp
Wanted something better for multiple projects, and to have a better CRM. But it wasn't worth the switch for me. Notion is simple and good enough.Switched From

It's never Monday with ClickUp - It always feels like a fantastic Friday!
Again, I can't tell you enough how pleased I am with ClickUp! As mentioned in my cons (which really weren't cons), I mention thoughtfully setting up your CU instance. Well... I didn't take my advice and thoroughly messed up my account. I contacted the CU service chat option and was helped by a literal expert CU employee. Not only did he unravel my stuff, he gave me some great tips and found out that he's one of the "teachers" on the CU YouTube videos that I love so much. This was great news because like most, I've has less than stellar support via chat. Not with ClickUp - everything they do is top notch.
I love using ClickUp for work, so I thought I'd create a space for my side-hustles and even another space for my household calendar and projects. Three months later and I've kept up with those spaces and even added my husband as a user! While he doesn't use all of the options, I have connected his Google calendar to our household projects and it's made so much difference! We even have our bills and budget stuff in CU. I'm sold on CU professionally and personally, so much so that you'd think I worked for ClickUp in sales. :)
This is a solid system - don't wait, dump your other PM applications and sign up with ClickUp!
Pros
I've been a user of almost every project mgmt system available. While all have their benefits, I found myself using at least three platforms for PM. They were, Monday.com, Trello, ZenDesk and we'd pepper in communication with Slack. Monday.com was our primary system and it lacked so much in the way of customizing my boards, columns and data associated. Additionally, I never felt like I had a place where all of my project items lived. With ClickUp, I have it all - including adding goals and associating tasks to them. On a regular basis the CU team releases new and exciting features. The cost is so minimal. I am in love with ClickUp!
Cons
I really don't have any cons to list. The only thing I can mention is that you USE the help documentation and even better are the YouTube videos on the CU channel. Because the application is SO ROBUST, it can take some focused time when setting up your instance of CU. The key is to understanding the hierarchy of teams, spaces, projects, lists/task, etc. Once you have that down, you can really dig in with custom fields, colors, goals and more. I recommend that you spend the first week setting up CU in small "time chunks", also, start with a pre-made template, play around, see the output and then work backwards to customize for your company. Also, you've got to indoctrinate your users with training and the benefits (time saving, $ producing, better systems, etc), or like any system, it will just be an expense and yet one more application that isn't being optimized. Have at least one CU champion on your team so that they can be a resource for the others.

Great tool for my company.
ClickUp is a powerful cloud-based tool for communication and project management. It can seem intimidating at first, but once you get accustomed to the user interface (especially on the free version), it will become second nature. ClickUp is an excellent choice for businesses and projects of all sizes, in all industries.
Pros
One thing I love about Clickup is the ability to make tasks dependent on others. That way, instead of having to move cards and manually check them off (which can get very time-consuming), you can just mark a task complete and the Clickup system will automatically notify the next person in line to do their part. It's honestly why our team uses Clickup because we have multiple big projects that are often too large for just one person.
Cons
As with any new software, you'll need a bit of time to get used to the interface and start learning all of its features. But don't worry, what you invest in learning now will save you a ton of time in the future. There are still some features that need to be worked on, but the developers are focused and quick with new releases.

Powerful organizational features that enable your team to manage workflow efficiently
With ClickUp, scheduling tasks for a specific period has become very easy, and sharing updates and asking for help is done quickly. Add to that the organizational features that we had, especially concerning saving and sharing files and documents, as well as preparing reports and dashboards.
Pros
I like ClickUp's notification system, as it keeps us in constant contact with all updates and requests, and it's great that notifications arrive in real-time via the mobile application. It's also great that I can always notify colleagues in the same way when new tasks, documents, or any updates are added. I also like the way the tasks entered into the lists are grouped by all members, and it's great how ClickUp provides a simple way to customize the lists as needed and provides many ways to display them, as well as the Gantt chart to display an integrated workflow diagram, so that we can clarify the relationships between the tasks. The tasks are visualized to make it easier for all members to follow up and make updates. Scheduling and automation are very efficient and enable us to find the effect of progress on closing dates. I also like that ClickUp provides a lot of functionality in one place, provides powerful communication tools, and allows us to share files and collaborate on the completion of reports and dashboards. It's also great that ClickUp integrates strongly with most of our applications, where we can import data and set up amazing dashboards.
Cons
The negatives are not many, especially with the new upgrades, and it is great how much ClickUp always interacts with users and constantly provides them with the latest updates accompanied by distinctive instructional videos.

An excellent workflow/project management tool.
ClickUp addressed our project management issues, assisted our teams in staying on top of projects, assisted our managers in staying on top of individuals and their duties, and provided everyone on our team with visibility into what was going on, who was accountable for what, and how far we had to go to attain the end objective. We replaced the excel file with ClickUp to handle our yearly financial report process; our configuration in ClickUp is comparable to other workflow tools in that we can appoint a preparer, reviewer, and so on using the custom fields. When the status of a task changes, for example, from preparation to review, the automations transfer it to whoever is the reviewer on that job.
Pros
It is an effective project management tool; with the proper setup and structure, it will enable your team to remain on top of all pending tasks and hold each other accountable for all areas of the job. Our team has gained more visibility into our operations and projects thanks to the platform's customizability and automations to promote efficiency. We reduced the need to communicate outside of ClikcUp (for example, via email), which boosted visibility into the status of multiple activities while lowering the need to hunt for communications pertinent to a certain work.
Cons
ClickUp has numerous capabilities, the drawback to usually that it takes a parcel to memorize best hones, how to set up the framework, and how to adjust your business and work fashion to the ClickUp framework. There are a couple of bugs related to automations and repeating errands that we have experienced, be that as it may ClickUp back group have been exceptionally supportive in settling these issues.
