I love kickfin and highly recommend it
Amazing. No complaints.
Pros
The accessibility and how easy it is to use anywhere. It is extremely hast and allows me to lay employees quickly, anytime, anywhere, and within 1 minute.
Cons
Probably just the price. It is a bit pricy but you do get what you pay for so I guess it is worth it.

Good software for Tipping, with improvement could be Great!
Overall, kickfin has been a very useful tool in tipping out employees in the service industry.

easy to use for the most part and easy set up
Cons
I did not like that we can not adjust the business date after a transaction has been submitted. This error happens from time to time and it affects the reporting. Also, the reporting feature could use some improvement. It is quite annoying when you have to go from tab to tab just to find data that could easily be on one tab. The support site never works. I always have to email.

Great Overall Product
Pros
I really like how easy it is to set up employees. I also like that we can easily pay the employees and they get their funds quicker. The customer service is great and I get prompt replies to my questions.

Kickfin works for both restaurants and employees
We have used Kickfin in two of our restaurants and are looking at it for a third in the near future. Kickfin streamlined tip payment, has prompt support, and simple to use.
Pros
Management are able to distribute tips instantly without a complicated dashboard allowing the business to keep less cash on hand and reduce theft. Staff appreciate immediate access to tips instead of taking cash to the bank or waiting on a weekly check. Platform is affordable and easy to setup and roll out.
Cons
Would like to see more direct integrations with modern POS systems like Toast and Revel to allow for direct tip integration.

An extremely easy to use, useful tool that keeps our team members happy. The reporting tools help balance accounting and payroll to make sure that tips are claimed and taxed appropriately and that the business is in compliance with laws.

Time Saver!
We used to spend loads of time counting money and hunting down our employees to give them their cash at the end of their shift. Sometimes they stayed on the clock with nothing else to do but wait for their money. With Kickfin, my employees can leave once their jobs are done and they get their money INSTANTLY. I thought they might be hesitant since people like having physical cash on them, but I have heard no gripping whatsoever.

From Sales to onboarding and daily use the experience was/is fluid and repeatable.

We don’t have to keep as much operating cash on hand in the restaurant.Payments to employee in near real time is a game changer for employee buy in.I have referred Kickfin to a similar establishment in a neighboring county.

Best Solution to Tip Payout!
It was easy to implement, learn, and use.
Pros
My employees are no longer handling large amounts of cash in order to pay out tips. Additionally, we are not having to worry about lost tip envelopes and once I submit the tip payout the employees receive it instantly.

Great for restaurants as an alternative to settling tips with cash
Pros
Our clientele has shifted from cash to credit cards as their primary method of payment. Using Kickfin enables us to keep a minimum amount of cash on hand while still allowing our direct-tipped staff to receive their tips instantly. It's a win-win.

Very easy to use. Less money handling equals fewer counting mistakes!
Pros
Before Kickfin, we paid out the staff with cash every night. So, we needed lots of money on hand. Now we aren't carrying nearly as much cash. And the server checkout is a lot quicker.
Cons
Staff was upset about the 75cent charge per person each shift. They got over it. Also, we've accidentally paid out the wrong person a couple of times. Wish there was a was refund their payment to the main account so we can pay the correct person.

It drastically helped us with tracking our banquet tips and what we pay out on a weekly basis to our employees.

I like how I can search an employees name and see in order from most recent to prior kickfins. I like how I can see what amount my manager are sending and can check up and review it at ease. It's organized and user friendly

It lags sometimes and is slow. I have to refresh the page alot in order to get it to work.

Pros
Love that the employees who get tipped can load ant card they'd like into the system. The other systems I've used make you use their strange cards.
Cons
Wish you see the paid out report by transaction grouping. It only gives you a list of people paid. At least I don't think it does.
