Easy to use
Pros
I can use the system with ease, analyzing received data reports or dashboards.
Cons
However, like any tool, Sisense has its drawbacks. One of the primary pain points is the setup process. While Sisense can integrate with many data sources, configuring those integrations might be challenging without assistance from experienced technical support.

Efficient BI Tool
Sisense is a comprehensive BI solution that excels in data integration, transformation, and visualization. Despite minor drawbacks, it provides a scalable, user-centric platform ideal for organizations seeking advanced analytics. Its adaptability makes it particularly effective for in-depth financial reporting and dynamic dashboards
Pros
Sisense's ability to handle complex data from multiple sources and its robust visualization tools stand out. The ElastiCube offers excellent flexibility, enabling custom transformations and efficient querying for large datasets. Its integration capabilities, including Salesforce and SQL, make it a powerful tool for seamless BI operations. The BloX widget is particularly valuable for creating interactive, customizable dashboards.
Cons
The steep learning curve for new users and occasional performance lags with large datasets are downsides. Advanced features like BloX can be challenging without sufficient documentation, and the UI sometimes lacks intuitiveness. Customizations might require considerable effort

Powerful BI for Enterprise!
Pros
Sisense is powerful for visualisation and it supports a lot of different type of graphs. The caching layer is done well, reducing cost for processing on data warehouse.
Cons
Some features are buggy for large enterprise. For example, the sidebar that syncs the schema and table available will stop syncing if the data warehouse has too many tables. These data are still queryable just not searchable on the UI.

Quick to set up plug and play data visualization tool that is more on the budget friendly side
Pros
Unlike Looker or Tableau, you don't need an elaborate data model to start building dashboards. You can just plug in your data source and with some basic SQL, have decent dashboards. The verified badge on the dashboards and data alerts are also super useful.
Cons
I don't think the data import options from various sources is working very efficiently.

Business Intelligence and Analytics Software
I appreciate the ability to consolidate data from multiple sources and gain valuable insights into their business operations. Sisense's customer support is also highly rated, which can be important for businesses that need quick assistance when encountering issues. While some users have noted potential drawbacks such as cost and a steep learning curve, Sisense appears to be a powerful and valuable tool for businesses of all sizes looking to leverage data for better decision-making.
Pros
Sisense is an easy-to-use business intelligence and analytics software with a drag-and-drop interface, allowing users to create custom visualizations and reports without technical expertise. The software can handle large volumes of data from different sources, offering valuable insights for informed decision-making. Sisense also provides advanced analytics capabilities such as predictive analytics and machine learning to uncover hidden patterns in the data. Additionally, the software is scalable and backed by excellent customer support, making it suitable for businesses of all sizees.
Cons
Some potential drawbacks of Sisense, as noted by users, include its cost, a steep learning curve for advanced features, limited visualization options compared to other tools, and occasional technical issues. While Sisense's drag-and-drop interface is generally easy to use, some users have found that more advanced customization options can be challenging to master. However, Sisense does offer excellent customer support to help address any issues that may arise, and its powerful analytics capabilities and scalability make it a valuable tool for businesses of all sizes.

Sisense for small scale & mid scale data analytics
The overall experience using Sisense is average, there are certain shortcomings related to performance.
Pros
The ease by which data reports & dashboards can be created. Availability of fast customer support & community.Reports can be scheduled to be downloaded using report manager. Custom tables can be created to create a desired view in the data model.Reports can be integrated with Printex to create PDF versions of the report using Jasper & YML.Can be installed offline as well. There is a wide variety of inbuilt aggreated & mathematical functions.
Cons
There can be memory issues while parallel loading of data into data models. Doesn't have certain features such as parameters. In the report function you cannot use string for comparison, in that case the calculation needs to be done in the data model itself.

Sisense has been a key component of our marketing product offering for 3 years. Our clients...
Pros
The front end of Sisense is what I like the most about this Software. Whether you are designing a Dashboard or using it you can expect and smooth and intuitive experience.
From a designer standpoint: the basic charts and features of data visualization are available in the standard tool. Once you are familiar with them, you find the need to take it to the next level. Next thing you know you find yourself leveraging Sisense online resources, adding new widgets, and updating javascript very easily to make your dashboard look the way you want.
From a user standpoint, looking at data, drilling and exporting is simple to figure out even without training.
Cons
I have experienced a few limitations with Sisense. When you export a dashboard into an image it doesn't look too good. I find myself taking screenshots instead which can sometimes become time consuming.
I've also been a little frustrated with not being to sort data as wanted in ascending, descending or alphabetical order.
I experienced a situation where I identified a design flaw for a supported widget and we were asked to financially support the development to fix the flaw. Which we didn't.
We still really appreciate the tool and its many benefits overall.

The best full stack BI solution on the market
100's of thousands in cost savings from automation and resource redundancies.
Pros
Quick to deploy, easy to use, and you can manage both the front end and the back end from a web portal. No more vpn into a server somewhere! We throw millions of rows of data at Sisense and it still keeps working like a champ! Having tried Domo, Tableau and others in the past Sisense was the first real full stack solution that got us out of our data issues and into a centralized source of truth with reporting. We have effectively saved 100's of thousands of dollars each year in automation and efficiencies alone!
Cons
Would love to see more widgets and customization options in the future. Some of the administrative features could be more robust as well.

The flexibility of custom software
Pros
Their assistance individuals are effective, expert, knowledgable, and simply great individuals. There have actually been obstacles as we press the limitations of performance, however assistance from both the sisense assistance and the sisense neighborhood individuals has actually enabled us to press through those obstacles. Sisense has a important and exceptionally helpful item today, and I eagerly anticipate seeing the item roadmap concerned truth.
Cons
The mobile experience isn't really almost as abundant as I 'd like. I don`t like the limitations in the elasticube environment to apply DAX functions.

Sisense is a useful tool that will be better once it gains more functionality
Pros
It is easy to pull in data and get a dashboard created quickly. It is also easy to use the elasticube manager to quickly manipulate data with the GUI and basic SQL.
Cons
The connectors are limited as are the functionality of the dashboards. If Sisense had native connectors to more data sources it would be able to gain many more users. It is most effective if you already have a database built out and the resources to develop the data connections that you need. The dashboards also have some very basic limitations, like being able to change the orientation/order/size of labels on graphs. Also there is no way to have a widget cover more than one row, which greatly limits the possibilities for layouts.

BI tool review
Very positive, it responds to our basic BI requirements. Customer support is very helpful and responsive
Pros
Ease of use, flexibility, open framework (you get a basic offer which you can customize as you go), backend technology is very powerful.
Cons
Very basic UI and out of the box visualization features, Elasticube is an outdated tool, no support for languages other than an old SQL version with limited functions supported.

SiSense allowed me to have the flexibility to have an internal and external portal easily
I am able to scale easily
Pros
The software enabled us to have the ability to be flexible enough to meet the needs of my external and internal customers. The amount of data that can be available to the end user, the ability to drill down and be notified of changes is incredible. The beauty of this functionality is the end user has visual dashboards to run "queries" and then download all the data from the results easily.
Additionally, we needed the security it provides to keep data from being "mixed" between customers. The structure of the system allows for global changes and the ability to modify customers dashboards in a singular location.
Cons
It is not a data warehouse. While there is an incredible amount of data available it is not a data warehouse and you cannot do ad-hoc queries on data residing in the application.

SiSense is nice, a data visualization and analytics tools that is more user friendly than...
SiSense makes my job much easier by making big data analytics quite easy. It's not cheap, though, and the software's visualization capabilities are sub-par, which makes it so that I have to use other data visualization tools to accomplish the end goal.
Pros
I think perhaps the most useful advantage of SiSense is the ease of use SiSense has. SiSense has a user-friendliness like Microsoft Access, which makes it easy for me to replace other data visualization tools. The elastic nature of SiSense makes for running automated models quite nice.
Cons
SiSense is user-friendly if you're used to Microsoft-type products. If you come from a different background, it will take a good deal of time to figure out SiSense. Additionally, the visualizations are not best in class at all and the ability to share analysis is not great.

Growing
Being an EMR, we use Sisense to allow our users to view and understand their datas in embedded dashboard. This solution allows us to have client that design their own dashboard to customize their needs. The solution is fast and intuitive and it's now used in most department of our company.
Pros
- Ease to install and use
- Intuitive interface
- Excellent product support and active community
- Lots of plugins to customize your product (look for Blox)
- Data security allow us to provide views of different set of data for different users
Cons
The solution is easy to use; you drag what you need and Sisense will aggregate the data. Not having to write the query is both a pro and a con, since sometimes your need will be slightly different and you'll have to be creative to reach it. The recent merge with Periscope (summer 2016) will most probably help this issue.

Excellent option for business intelligence and reporting
Better distribution of data/reports around our business, lower workload in producing reports, and better insights into our business by making the merging of disparate datasets easier.
Pros
Very easy to use ETL and modelling tools and a good variety of built-in connectors to various data sources, great performance on datasets with millions of rows, powerful and easily customisable presentation and visualisation tools with a pretty good community of users writing and sharing plugins, and great support.
Cons
Metadata management is pretty poor so it's hard to keep complicated data models straight or communicate changes and issues to designers and users without separate tools/documentation, and the mapping tools could be better if that's important to you.

Great tool for those with SQL know how
Greater flexibility, control, and freedom with data.
Pros
I like the speed and streamlined SQL language it enables. It has a great interface and customer support is fantastic.
Cons
SQL knowledge is required so this is not meant for the casual business user (though SQL experts can create dashboards for business users to monitor).

Great dashboarding tool, very easy and quick to implement
Within months we have implemented advanced management dashboards over multiple business domains such as Cross-Company KPI's, Sales & Forecasting, Technical Services, HR, etc.
We have managed to shift the extended management into daily business reviews of streamlined terminologies and KPI's.
Pros
Time to implement ; Visualization ; Self explanatory for users ; Pulse functionality ; Great Customer Success and Support team ; Available ecosystem of add-ons ; Constantly evolving & improving
Cons
Missing some basic functionalities (but for some there are available add-ons and solid roadmap)
Very easy to ramp up and implement the basics, but getting tough on the advanced analytics concepts (can be mitigated with an additional DWH layer)
Reasons for Choosing Sisense
Had an obsolete implementation. Wanted to start from scratch, rather than improve an existing model.- Company size: 10,000+ Employees

Great Intelligence for Business and Technology!
My company has been using SiSense for almost two years as an internal tool for quickly creating dashboards for both business and technical needs. Since our data sets live anywhere from Google Docs to MySQL to IBM Netezza, SiSense has greatly increased our ability to expose our total data asset for visualization and has allowed us make better decisions - faster. Other platforms simply do not offer the flexibility and ease of use that we required.
Pros
We have had a great relationship with the SiSense technical support staff that has worked both ways: they provide great insight and feedback into how to best leverage our data asset and we have given some interesting use cases that have been built into the product. Additionally, since SiSense connects to almost every data storage platform our there we have continuously used SiSense whenever we need to get a quick peak under the hood at our data asset in different systems.
Cons
No true cons - our major challenge has been taking our enormous asset and figuring out the best approach to organizing that data in the Elasticube framework. The support that we get from SiSense has been critical in ensuring that we can work around those challenges as they occur.

Powerful tool, constantly improving, but with a few 'growing pains'
Sisense is highly engaged in monitoring and supporting their customers needs and success. Their documentation and training options have grown a great deal, and the quality and content of those resources has improved significantly.
Pros
This is an extremely valuable tool because if offers many types of functionality, for users with varying technical skill levels. The evolution of this application, in just the 3 years we have used it, is also impressive. It is continually expanding its set of features and capabilities.
Cons
As with any product that is aggressively growing its suite of components, platforms, and overall degree of usefulness, some new offerings need corrections before achieving full implementation in certain environments. E.g. it is a little frustrating to see an awesome new capability (like BloX), but have to wait for it to be fixed for Linux, but that will hopefully be resolved soon.

Sisense is awesome!
We initially purchased the application to dig deeper into our sales performance, looking at multi-dimensional factors not available from our erp reporting system. We have found that its flexibility gives us the opportunity to look at other transactional data from our operating system in new ways for decision support purposes.
Pros
The ease with which we can connect to various data sources
Cons
Sometimes correcting our data errors can be tricky
