Udemy Business - practical courses at your own pace
It has affordable prices compared to technical institutions and universities that offer similar courses at a higher cost. With Udemy I can learn at my own pace, which makes it an ideal plaform for learners of all levels. Also, that I can take the courses from my mobile or computers. The option to view demo videos before purchasing also helps me make an informed decision about which courses to take.
Pros
I am a huge user of online courses, and one of the platforms I use is Udemy Business because it takes everything I love about regular Udemy and elevates it to a new level, especially in terms of the qualty of the courses. The platform is mainly aimed at practical courses that don’t take much time, something that is useful for professionals, it offers a wide range of courses that cover both soft skills and special courses. What sets it apart is the fact that it features only the highest rated courses, ensuring that we can take quality courses.
Cons
Well, the platform offers a variety of courses, some are very basic, this forces you to take other courses, in my opinion they should improve the quality of the courses and strike a balance between the practical and the basic, so that it isn’t a waste of time, the search options can be quite limiting, making it difficult to find the specific courses I’m interested in, they need to improve the suggestion of related courses, Another concern is the price, some courses seem too expensive for the content and quality of the instruction they offer.

Good platform for technical content
Pros
I liked the wide variety of courses, which provided ample options for tech team development. The platform offered flexibility in course selection, making it easy to find relevant training. You can do exam preparations like mock exams to help with certifications and a lot of the content is approved by the vendor for example AWS or Amazon.
Cons
The lack of customisation options for administrators. It was challenging to tailor the content or track detailed metrics specific to team needs, limiting the control over course delivery. If there was a way to set a priority and then measure learning completion toward that priority skill or subject, that would be useful.

Lack of Flexibility and Support for Small Businesses
I’ve been incredibly disappointed with my experience using Udemy for our business. We initially invested in multiple licenses for our team, expecting it to be a valuable tool for training and development. However, as our financial situation changed, we had to reduce our team size and found ourselves with unused licenses, yet were unable to adjust our subscription accordingly.
The most frustrating aspect has been Udemy’s lack of flexibility and understanding. When we reached out to discuss options for reducing our license count and adjusting our billing cycle, we were met with rigidity and indifference. Despite explaining our financial hardship, we were threatened with third-party collections for a recent unpaid bill—adding unnecessary stress during an already challenging time.
I’m deeply disappointed with the lack of support for small businesses and the absence of any real customer service that goes beyond basic accounts receivable responses. This experience has been frustrating and has made me question our initial decision to invest in Udemy.
I wish I’d done more due diligence and reviewed Udemy’s ratings beforehand, as I now see that other users have faced similar challenges.
Pros
I like their interface and overall navigation of courses.
Cons
Dealing with their after the sale customer service and billing.
Response from Udemy
Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your detailed review!
Our Team Plan purchases are non-refundable, so we are not able to make any license adjustments at this time (This is based on our Terms and Conditions as stated in our Master Service Agreement: https://www.udemy.com/terms/ub/).
I hear your frustration; if you are open to it, I would like to discuss your interaction with us and if there's any other way we can help with your account.

Review of Udemy
Pros
Udemy is great educational platform in which you can find a lot of contents to learn about on an everyday basis. I use it to learn more about Data Science and Data Engineer. So far, I am satisfied
Cons
The cons is that there is a lot of content regarding a same field. Let's say you want to learn python there's a lot of content from different creator and sometimes it's not easy to choose.
And when creating a career path, sometimes it suggest a path that can be rather too long so a lot of handmaid customization to do.

Udemy - a one stop platform for learning
super happy with the product. Adding badges program will allow the users to use more as badges are often counted as experience
Pros
it has a ton of courses to select from ranging from personal interest to professional development. most content are driven from experience and gives us the nudge to learn a little more
Cons
Udemy business should start introducing a badge program with a test at the end of every training session. this will add value to the employees professional development

Trustworthy and diverse online course platform for self development
- I tried buying online courses off of Udemy so many times. Some of the tutors are very welcoming and they will approach you -- which I really like! I must say that buying from this platform is really worth it.
Pros
- Their refund process is very comprehensive and lenient. You can refund some bought courses if you do not like them- Contact center is quick. They can go back to you for your inquiries- They go on sale very often. Good opportunity to purchase courses- Very diverse! Whether you are in tech field or not, there may be a perfect course for you.
Cons
- As much as there are several good online courses offered, there are also undesirable courses that still cannot be sorted intelligently for the users.- Their mobile app has a very limited functionality. If you need more advanced features, you still need to access their website as some functionalities and modules are not available in the mobile app.

Perfect to help the team increase there knowledge and skills
Overall, the platform is the best at what he offers. The range of courses, the pace, the ease to navigate the platform and the customer service are all top notch.
Pros
The range of courses and the level of details for the courses are the biggest selling point for the platform. The courses are detailed and taught at a good pace which makes it easier for the team to complete their courses in time. We are always encouraging the team to take courses to help increase their skills and Udemy always has everything you need. The website and mobile app are really easy to navigate as well.
Cons
The only issue which isn't really much of an issue is the pricing system. You buy a course at a full price and few days after, it is already discounted by almost 90%. If something can be done for this, it will be nice.

Overall, Udemy Business is the best training website as it includes many courses from a diverse range of topics.
Pros
The amount of training present on Udemy Business is enormous, and include many different topics. Features are great, including the Q&A sections in every individual video, as well as trascriptions and quality of the courses.
Cons
Not everything is included in Udemy Business, so if you are looking for a specific course it might not be there.

Continuous learning at an affordable price
Udemy is an affordable learning platform and offers courses from qualified instructors. There is no time-limit and users can progress at their own pace. It fits well with professionals who are working full-time and could spare only few hours a week to continue their learning. Lack of gamification elements and motivating factors makes Udemy some-what outdated platform. i.e. There is no external tools to push the user to stay on track with their course. Udemy can do better by offering graded quizzes and assessments.
Pros
Udemy offers a wide variety of courses, you may find multiple courses from different instructors on the same subject and the learner can choose the course / instructor that she suits her needs. The recorded video and audio quality is mostly good. The transcript section is extremely useful when following instructors with strong accents. We can also speed up or slow down the video for better listening. The QA section under each course acts as a forum to get our questions clarified. The ability to rate and comments on the course content is good and it helps learners to pick the best content and also helps the instructors to uphold quality.
Cons
Some courses may not be up to standard and the user needs to rely on ratings and comments to find the best course on the subject. There is no built-in tests to evaluate the user's proficiency level. It's up to the user to go through the course index and content to see if it's the right amount of challenge. Once the course is completed, there are no tests to assess our learning / knowledge.

Udemy for Business is the go to for learning diverse things
My experience with Udemy Business was a good one, going back at it when the job will allow it.
Pros
I liked the most at Udemy for Business the fact that there are a lot of courses from almost all the domains, and the fact that on courses with assessments, the user can ‘code’ on the website.
Cons
It would be cool to have a feature that would allow the learner to code inside the browser, as other learning tools do, without needing the setup on the local machine of the required coding applications.

My Review of Udemy Business
My overall experience with Udemy Business is not good and I don't enjoy using it.
Pros
I like the variety of content offered by Udemy Business in different disciplines. Udemy Business offers most of the courses at low prices with huge discounts. I also like the recommendation system of Udemy Business as it always suggests courses in the same track I am following
Cons
There are no specializations in Udemy Business that takes you from the beginner level to the advanced level. The interface of Udemy Business is very bad and not organized at all. Most of the courses offered by Udemy Business are offered by non-professional people, anyone literally can publish his/her course through their platform.

Great learning platform in terms of depth, variety, and practicality of courses
Overall, I think Udemy is the most cost-effective enterprise learning platform I've utilized so far. Using it is very convenient for our employees for self-paced learning and professional development.
Pros
Udemy has a very large course catalog. It's good value for money in terms of investing in a single learning platform with the widest possible utility for our employees.
Cons
There's not much interactivity in the courses, mostly just videos you watch.
