Straight-forward Web Expenses
I have used webexpenses before, and when joining this company I was pleased to see it was a platform I was familiar with, and was able to pick it up without any refresher or training content. Straight-forward expenses system.
Pros
The app makes it easier to submit costs on the go, especially useful when travelling and wanting to capture a receipt in the moment.
Cons
I would have preferred it if we had integrated our travel booking portal into it, to combine the costs being managed under the one policy, but this is more to do with how the business I am in onboarded the product rather than the product itself I suspect.

Great Product

Pros

Very poor outcome trying to start a claim
Utterly terrible. Make the app work properly. Time wasted trying to do what should be the simplest of actions.
Pros
The phone app looks nice. If it worked as well, it would be fantastic.
Cons
- Unable to add a receipt to claim in (latest version of) app
- Inadequate Help pages for guidance on usage and troubleshooting for app
- Support which throws up an error when I try to raise a case for the above

very good platform that is user friendly and efficient.
Pros
Webex is easy to link to multiple devices, quick and easy to use on the go, milage calculator is one of the most accurate i have used.
Cons
more constructive than a dislike but when you have multiple sites you have to click into the drop down box, click more and then it gives you the full list. why not just open out to the full list straight away?

Webexpneses
Initially it was good but we were receiving so many email notifications. This issue was first reported in September 2023 and despite several reminders this issue is still unresolved! In summary, software is good but unfortunately, customer service doe not care to resolve any issue.
Pros
Webexpenses software is very easy to use.
Cons
1) Mobile version needs lots of improvement. More than often there is issue with submitting expenses on mobile app.
2) Notification emails cannot be stopped and therefore there are hundreds of emails which is annoying.

Webexpenses - fulfills all my needs and easy to use
overall better than the last online expenses system i used and would highly reccomend

very easy to use - both on the laptop and mobile - i don't have to keep paper receipts anymore and i can do my expenses on the go

bit difficult to adjust mileage i find - fo rinstance if i had to detour for an accident i find the maps a bit tricky to navigate

Excellent Product
Really happy with my experience so far and a programme I'm happy to continue using.
Pros
Makes managing applications and payments so much easier! Reminders ensure nothing is forgotten and all dates/times are tracked. The team are always on hand to help within minutes with any queries.

It can take some getting used to, but the team are very helpful.

Expenses Management
Webexpenses is the easiest expense tracker I have used to date.
It is simple to track the payments made against the receipts submitted, review past submissions easily and quickly, and relevant and quick analytics.
Pros
It is very user-friendly.
One of my favorite features is mileage tracking.
It is valuable to have access to the start/ end of the journeys logged and to be able to tag them to specific projects. This means the user and the wider team ensure no fraudulent claims are made against the company account. This makes the tracker secure to use straightforwardly.
The other relevant feature is to match the claims against the digitalised expense receipts presented for quick and simple reconciliations.
Cons
The mobile responsiveness could be improved.
It is not possible to save a journey on the mobile app and sometimes the route shown is not the route taken.

Pros
Contains everything in one place and allows management of multiple claims and trips in one go, allowing on the road usage and storage of receipts alongside use of categories to track spend and submit for approval. Once comfortable quick to use on a regular basis.
Cons
Initially a hurdle to overcome baseline knowledge and get used to system, but once done so then easy to use.

I am using Webexp from last 5 years, and the platform offers robust features for categorizing and submitting expenses, and the mobile app makes it convenient to handle expenses.

Simplifies filing expenses
There are/ have been teething problems and you have to update or delete and reinstall in some cases. Overall it makes life quicker for myself and the accounts team.

Overall experience is good but I think some features could be improved to make it quicker and more automated for the user.

The mobile app and the desktop link well. The automatic search of receipts has improved significantly over the last couple of years.

Overall an excellent platform for all web expenses.
Pros
With detailed records of your expenses, you can make better financial decisions. Whether it's choosing between needs and wants or evaluating the cost-benefit of a purchase, expense tracking provides the necessary data.

I find the routes are often wrong. My actual mileage is sometimes very different.

Good system but......
Overall a good product that streamlines the whole reimbursement process. Could have slight improvements with being able to draw on screen and highlight or select areas that you want to bring attention to.
Pros
Using Webexpenses to sign off expenses is fast and very easy to navigate. Easy to log in and find expenses that have been submitted.
Cons
It can be cumbersome in trying to submit expenses. The loading of reciepts can be difficult sometimes depending on the format used.

User friendly
I'm happy with my overall experience as a webexpense user, the system is easy to use - especially when you're on the go.
Pros
Linked desktop and mobile app makes it much easier to add items to a claim than before. Uploading receipts via the mobile app automatically inputs most of the required elements and makes the process much quicker.
Cons
Viewing receipts linked to an item via the desktop site can be temperamental at times.

Great experience for managing and tracking expense claims
Great platform, intuitive and easy to use. Mobile app adds easy for when you are on business travel.

Web app is great, I can scan receipts as I get them so no worrying about losing them or them fading!
Cons
Just one small grip with the "client" pick list in the claim form. You have to expand the list before you can start typing the name of a client to select from the drop down.

Easy to use, set up new users, car allowances.

Having to manually export reports into accounting system - into a different format compatible to post journals.
Only one cost centre per user - can't change this so have to manually recode.
